I was surprised to see the hateful comments on this video. The area has a rich history which you can't deny, and a solid group of real artist (actors, singers, painters) who call this place home. Yes there will always be those who try to juxtapose themselves next to these people and play the role but that shouldn't diminish the charm of this place. I don't know any other place in L.A. where the struggling and affluent so easily co-mingle and interact. L.A. has many places to appreciate. Enjoy.

Los Feliz wasn't once known as East Hollywood. East Hollywood is bordered by the 101 to the south, Hollywood Blvd to the north, Western to the west, and Virgil to the east. East Hollywood is right next to Los Feliz but they're not the same. One is gentrified, the other isn't and the difference in houses, rent, and shops make it obvious. The video was right about Yuca's. Best Mexican food in the city.
