  • hurray for propaganda, now go kiddies and perpetuate your unknowing of your system, because it means you've done the right thing!

*insert big aawww smile here for extra cute propaganda for the ignorant masses *

  • RE-PUUUU BLIC!!! Republic! REPUBLIC! REPUBLIC! REPUBLIC! ITS A GOD DAMNED REPUBLIC!!!

  • Well this explains alot...about how poorly educated our youth are regarding our system of government ...

  • America is a republic not a fucking democracy.

  • @iamgig9876 exactly!

  • Kids are being brainwashed

America is a REPUBLIC !!! there is not a single mention of Democracy in the constitution

The Roman Empire was a Republic, then they became a Democracy then they became a Monarchy

Same thing is happening to America

  • kids say the darnest things

  • Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.

The difference between a democracy and a republic is that a republic has a code of laws (constitution) that cannot be cast aside by the vote of a mob. Even with America's representatives laws aren't passed by a simple majority. Certain actions require certain ratios and courts enforce the limitations set by a constitution to protect the rights of the minority. In theory anyway.

  • Cute kids giving their point of view. Bitter miserable pricks giving their response. P.S. though. Keep killing the taliban. You know, chicken shit cowards who fight by strapping bombs to 6 year olds and send them into shopping malls. But I guess that's better than dropping bombs on their military targets huh.

  • How sweet, just to think you kids would grow up and join the army and go kill more terrorist in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran etc etc and show them the meaning of Democracy yay!! you can do what you want and the the other poor countries can't do what they want.. awesome... i love democracy...the government gets to butt fuck you and say what they want and the only thing you are free to say is "Please not so HARD!" .

  • who cares?

  • The Ponzi scheme Fed stole $8.4 TRILLION from the auctions of Treasury securities last year. Congress never asked about it. It is embezzlement. Ref. 3w scribd dot com message 49040689.

  • Rather than watch this crap y'all should be watching videos of The Damned performing "Democracy" live. Go, now, do it.

  • The kids should go teach Kaddafi that, he thinks democracy is (Deemo Al karasee) which translates to (keep your chairs). lol

  • Democracy is indoctrinating little kids who have no idea! Hurray!

  • Democracy is a KKK lynch mob and a black man on the end of a rope, voting on whether to have a hangin' that day. The majority is always right.

  • M o v i n g F o r w a r d

    ZEITGEIST

  • Awe look, how cute, indoctrination still works in America...

  • @revoltforliberty everybody is indoctrinated. The only way to prevent indoctrination is to disable all 5 physical senses (sight , taste , touch, smell and sound)

You can't be indoctrinated if your brain can't absorb and process external information through your sensory inputs.

  • @beenn15 I agree, the 5 senses are natural, government lies are not a part of natural human nature is my point...

  • @beenn15 one way to prevent indoctrination is to keep kids out of the public school system.

  • @tonythesom ...or to reform it

  • @tonythesom since when was private schooling less biased? public schools cant actively endorse a particular religion, for example (you could argue that this still happens, just not nearly to the degree as private schools)

  • OH OH OH PICK ME PICK ME! Democracy is 2 wolfs and a lam voting on what to eat.

  • The smartest kid is the one who said that she didn't know what democracy is. They all have so much to learn.

  • uhh isnt democracy the rule by the majority??? not freedom of speec you cute little kiddies =D

  • @androidonetwothree Freedom of speech is part of a democracy you cute little... whatever you are.

  • @Lewa500 We the majority vote to take away freedom of speech. Sense we have Democracy we win and you lose. We did not get freedom of speech from democracy. Freedom of speech comes from the constitution. We in the US have a Constitutional Repbulic. Never dose the word Democracy come up in the constitution, the bill of rights or the Declaration of Independence. That is all.

  • @Epica124 What makes democracy unique IS the freedom of speech, as well as the tolerance towards minorities and the ability for every person (no matter of race, gender, ethnic group, etc.) who has an opinion on a matter to be heard and judged fairly.

P.S.: A republic (doesn't matter if it is constitutional) is, although not a pure one, a form of democracy.

  • @Lewa500

US democracy is the most tolerant towards minorities. US displayed great tolerance towards its minorities in such great acts as the authorization of Executive Order 9066 to protect the Japanese Americans during Second World War and the implementation of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 to reduce the number of Chinese deaths from their perilous voyage across the great Pacific Ocean ;-)

  • @weswmilton I'm not really into North American history, so I can't really argue with you there.

  • @weswmilton How much did you pay the Indian tribe leader for your land?

  • Democracy in its pure direct form is unstable, it needs to be limited by law, thus creating a Republic.

  • democracy is when you vote on who makes decisions over your life and enforces them through violence.

  • @1schwererziehbar1 Yes, and then if you're not happy with it you can vote against that person next election...

  • i wonder if those kids know that they dont get freedom of speech until they are 18

  • what you can say about bombing women and children from Sky.

    a) Deliberate Mistake

    b)Fascist US Democracy.

    God help Taliban

  • Pllllllllllllllllllllpppppp

  • Someone please tell these kids they don't want a democracy. They are describeing what the founding fathers wanted for us...a Republic.

  • so we are brain-washing our children, now? JFGI(Just Freakin' Google It) Democracy is Majority Rules! it has no guarantee of freedom or justice. if 51% of the people want to take your home, or business, or even those you love... they can. that is in no way what i want... I want our Republic back!

  • Wow, these kids are seriously f**ked up. Way to go Department of Education.

  • @scotthallowood Your tax dollars hard at work.

  • 'Democracy for an insignificant minority, democracy for the rich--that is the democracy of capitalist society.'

Vladimir Lenin "The State and Revolution" (1918)

    Marxist Internet Archive

Democracy is all about rule by the people NOT rule by an elitist ruling class, and NOT the exercise of personal autonomy at the expense of the collective. Socialism IS the road to democracy- Karl Marx

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Elite ruling class - what a communist party becomes.

  • @AmericaDevil your name suits you well lol. your lame assumptions of human nature are entirely uninteresting , ever read Kropotkin.

Worls wide capitalism is failing and this BP oil disaster is yet another example of things going wrong

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY How is it failing? I'm pretty sure Tony Hayward is still rich.

  • @AmericaDevil you just put your feet up, pour a glass of champagne and then urinate on the poor out of your apartment window. This would equal a productive day for you

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Or I could give my champagne to the poor.

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Capitalism isn't failing, socialism is. All these regulations upon buisness and the market are killing our economies. Capitalism is competition, the free trade of goods, services, and labor. Government regulations, taxation, and "Social Justice" are all detrimental to the free trade of goods and services. In every communist country the standard of living is far below the standard of industrialized nations. But hey, I'm sure communism will work the next time.

  • @thehotshirtguy2008

'Government regulations, taxation, and "Social Justice" are all detrimental to the free trade of goods and services.'

So you would sacrifice "social justice" in the name of free trade?

There is or never has been any communist country. What you saw and what you still see are socialist states NOT communist societies.

Socialism is the earliest and crudest phase of communism. In many respects it resembles the old capitalist system from when it came from.

  • @thehotshirtguy2008

Capitalism is failing becuse you cant run resurces to the ground like it does.

Ecology and capitalism is far from equal thoughts.

The future will be a democracy with a heavy scientist vote added to democracy because of the hurry to change it to severe.

  • @thehotshirtguy2008

Capitalism is failing becuse you cant run resurces to the ground like it does.

  • @arnennnn What?

  • Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. - Benjamin Franklin......

  • Hooray for popularity contests!

  • Democracy = Make Girls become a Bitches

  • Brainwash them young

  • Elected Democracy or Elected Aristocracy was the suggested best form of government for 18th Century France by Jean Jacque Rousseau(The Social Contract), the book that created the 1st Republic and influenced Napoleon, Gaulle and many other of the Republics.

  • Makes me cry.

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Direct Democracy best supports the will of the people. Correct. The delusion is that the will of the people isn’t correct. The means of controlling this is false belief is by actively using reprehensive democracy or a constitution so the will of the meritocrats to control later peoples.

  • James Madison defined republic in terms of "representative democracy" as opposed to direct democracy, and this usage is "still employed ..."

  • -

The "Father of the Constitution," he was the principal author of the document. In 1788, he wrote over a third of the Federalist Papers, still the most influential commentary on the Constitution.

  • @blevr1234 I agree, however, remember a pure representative democracy means the majority of representatives can do whatever the want which is very similar to a direct democracy. In a republic "rule of law" even the majority of representatives cannot do as they please over the people, in a republic 99% of the representatives and the people cannot take away the rights of even 1% of the people...

Long live the Republic (After we rostore it!!)

  • Are there really any REAL democracies in the world today? I mean, do people really get every single bill to read and study, and then a chance to vote on anything?

  • @eric5335 Democracy folds into Anarchy or folds into Oligarchy. In our Oligarchical operation of nation control, we maintain the image of Democracy by providing Duopolies. AT&T and Verizon... Coke and Pepsi... but in the end, it is a very select few individuals that practically 'own' specific fassets of society through monopolies, watered down into 2 competing entities to give the public 'choice'.

    Republican - Democrat...Liberal-Conservative etc...

There is order of the few or Anarchy.

  • the way I see it is a republic is a democracy with law.

  • Youtube is democracy. comments below me is bullshit

  • the first girl, was right, democracy is what tells you what you can do and can't do, die democracy!

  • Awe look, child indoctrination... Burn in hell liberals, we Americans live in a "Constitutional Republic."

I don't vote, because I believe in Freedom, not Mob-Rule!

  • The Failure of Democracy: watch?v=Rw8GwMRXD0s

  • when i grow older and i want to vote,my opinion will count =))))) this will be a first

  • If 90% of the people want a constitutional monarchy, then that is democracy.

If 90% of the people want a republic with elected representatives, then that is democracy.

Democracy only states that the people must choose the form of their government.

Democracy can also be a mix, where elected officials provide recommendations that the people must validate. It can also allow representatives power over everything except... let's say... war, which must be voted on directly by the people.

  • Your schools are lying to you. Democracy is bad. A constitutional republic based on inherent rights is good. America is NOT a democracy. It is supposed to be a Republic. Your teacher is lying.

  • @st4ticblu3 Democracy is a philosophy of government, and not an implementation. A democracy can result in a republic if the people freely choose.

If we have a republic that is not chosen explicitly by the people, we are no different than the Roman republic, which became the Roman empire, which became history.

  • Is like an Apple spot, is full of crap! A pile of crap presented in a "trendy" mod.

  • Freedom of Speech is a Right. Democracy doesn't protect rights. This video is just a Indoctrination mess. 1: We are not a Democracy, since when were we anyway? 2: What these kids explain in this video is NOT Democracy. I can keep going. Seriously, this "USA is a Democracy!" crap is getting old...

  • You're fucking brainwashing your people. Anglo-Saxons, what do you do to your nations? "Teach your boys to be warriors, and teach your girls to please them" Nietzsche

  • Democracy is Mob Rule.

  • @KPACHNbIBLOOD Democracy is not majoritarianism unless the people choose. If given the chance to vote, I would not select majoritarianism. I would select consensus democracy, where all restrictions on liberty must gain much more than a 50% majority. Democracy can be a 66% system of an 80% system.

It can also be religious or monarchic, but only if the chosen system is met with the honest approval of the people.

  • Democracy is simply the majority. You can only do what the majority agrees with. If you want to do something but 51 percent disagree with. Then you are out of luck. Are country is a Republic founded on laws.

  • Indoctrinate them well... They are very confused now.. Oh, my kids WILL be, and are being informed... skip them over and don't waste your time on them.. And fear them. They will be armed with information.

  • Wow, unbelievable, what a horrible video. Democracy ultimately leads to mob rule.

  • Democracy IS a system of governance which defines the true will of the majority of the people and makes it into the supreme law of the land. When was the last time your government asked you what they should do? Never. There is no democracy. What we call democracy makes a mockery of democracy! If government did what the people want there wouldn't be rampant political corruption. And, there would be peace and prosperity for all. And, your kids could play safely in your front yard. 6 seconds ago

  • @stopdemockery

You are a moron. The USA is not a democracy.

    Democracy is..

2 Wolves and a Lamb voting on whats for dinner.

    Democracy is..

    Mob Rule

    Democracy is...

What government schools and pop culture tries to brainwash people into believing the USA is.

    Democracy is...

What our founding fathers warned us about becoming.

  • @TheKingOfDeals George Warmonger Bush says America is a democracy. Don't you beileve your hero? You need to stop repeating the catch phrases, lies and sound bites authored by the monsters who illegally own you and everything you think you own. Democracy would be better than being a slave in a demockery.

  • @TheKingOfDeals ~ I know America isn't a democracy. But, it should be. And, personal attacks do not improve your arguement.

The "two wolves and a lamb" arguement was coined by the Illuminati to villify the word, "Democracy," They've made so that the word sounds evil unless coming from the mouth of George Warmonger Bush or Barak Warmonger Obama.

Democracy would put the people in charge. And, I'd much prefer that 51% of the people rule than .001%, which are the criminal elite.

  • @stopdemockery And do you think that a Democracy ends all corruption? Look back to the end Roman Republic. Now the Romans were getting corrupt and started to ignore there rights, and started voting to whoever would offer them the best benefits at the cheapest prices. As this started to happen there Republic slowly started ignoring th Twelve Tables to become more corrupt until it transformed into a Democracy. It wasn't long there that Democracy took them into the slippery slope to Despotism.

  • @LovehammerMedia ~ In ancient Rome, most of the people were slaves. Who's to say what would happen in a "democracy" in which only the elite participated?

It's a simple fact that in a theoretical democracy the people would be in charge. Their will would be law. I think they would outlaw political corruption, war, hunger, starvation, ignorance and injustice, because the vast majority of people want peace, justice and prosperity. And, anything that wasn't perfect, the people would perfect.

  • @LovehammerMedia Democracy has never been tried, I would point out, Rome was a republic, and 51% democracy is not the only form. It is probably the worst form.

A Democracy must originate from the greatest consent of the people. It need not be direct or indirect, secular or religious, but it must originate from the people. The only country in Europe to avoid war in the 20th century was also the only country where the people could directly influence the decision.

  • cute, nice, but its sad that they're rarely taught that we are a republic

  • This is evidence of US school system failure!

  • According to the New world Order think tanks ;

Democracy is a form of Government run by America, for America, and who ever listen and obeys America or Israel . Rest of the countries are out of order and has no right to survive. ...hahahaha

  • I hate democracy im for a monarchy or dictatorship (but not SSSR stile more German or Italian stile).

  • @Cyricist001 Well obviously you have no prior knowledge to government. Firstly Germany and Italy today have Republics. And i think you mean the USSR? Now before and during WWII Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy both had Fascist governments. Now under Fascism you have the illusion of rights, but they are unenforced by a constitution and can be taken away at the governments will. I suggest researching these things before you say them because you are saying a HUGE statement

  • @LovehammerMedia In my language its SSSR, savez - union

    1. In Fascism you have no rights, as is my opinion that the rghts of humans are illusions and only the right of the stronger egzists.

Your rights can be trampeld on in a democracy as well, only they dont say it out loud.

No prior knowledge?, thats not true, i only rejected what was told in the books and made my own concept of what works and what not.

Can you say that Germany and Italy function better now than how they did before?

  • Going on the liberalness.

  • Fascism is better in my opinion.

  • Fascism would be much better then this shit, if democracy is a bunch of dumbass kids talking, ill take fascism everyday...

  • @themaninnavyblue

America couldn't be more facist. It's run by corporations (the illuminati). In fact, The United States is a corporation, run for profit. It's not a country. Look it up.

  • Republics have major flaws. Representation doesn't cure the ills of Democracy... in many ways, Representation tears down the limitations of a republic, as interested parties and wise men do what they can for the "public good".

All government is mob rule. What you truly must object to is the 50% number. No one ever talks about moving that number... eesh.

Move it to 85%... problem solved. You will dismiss this when you read it, if you are vain.

    50%=Mob. 85%=Overwhelming Majority.

  • As you must know, the problem with Democracy is that "well-funded" and "ambitious people" easily manipulate public opinion to their own ends, through FRAUD & DECEIT. Though people "are" beginning to wake-up.

And so, it will not be long before more people will know the 14th Amendment for what it is...

    Voluntary Servitude by Deception

    /watch?v=X6b4YrXayzE

  • There was only one Albert Einstein. You can gather a billion human beings to dispute the theory of special relativity. It will still remain intact. There was a time when a majority of society believed that the earth is flat. Do you want to live in that society?

  • @ParrhesiaJoe A small nation in Europe called the Republic of Two Crowns or The RTC. Anyway despite there name they were strongly democratic. They tried a system like this and no laws got passed in there last 200 years because of it. Think of how much trouble basic laws take to pass? Nothing would get done, and in a constantly changing world we would be frozen in 2010.

  • @LovehammerMedia You want your bad laws to change and the good ones to stay around. At any rate, all I can find on RTC is in a collaborative world alt-history site, Bethisad.

Democracy is ONLY the will of the people. The people may will a representative government in some form, but unless they expressly ask for it, it is a tyranny imposed on them against their consent.

Democracy doesn't say 50% or no religion. It only says, the people must decide for themselves.

  • @statesRcountries the 49.99 % also have the freedom to leave and go somewhere else if they aren't on the same wave length with the majority :)

  • @doryan69, when ever a majority has the capacity to impose its will upon any individual, no individual (even of the majority) is free.

Indeed, slaves are made in such ways.

    My (unsolicited) advise...

Stop drinking the fluoride, and wake-up.

  • @statesRcountries I don't know what's your problem with democracy ( i see on your channel you're not a big fan of the U.S. and neither am i) but if u prefer republicanism over democracy , i have only one thing to say : Bush was republican ! :)

    have a good day

  • @statesRcountries Communism's better.

  • @statesRcountries Well, true Communism says no classes, so there wouldn't be any political hierarchy, and it would be a true Democracy.

  • @statesRcountries This so-called democracy IS a fraud. The people are led to believe they have a say in their affairs. But, which ever way they vote, they vote for the illuminati's agenda. At every election we shoot ourselves in the collective foot. And, I'd take the rule of 51.1 % anytime over the rule of .001 %, as it is now, because in the 51.1% there are a lot of sane people. And, in the .001% they're all quite insane and unbelievably inhumane.

  • @stopdemockery, ok! I agree! No argument. However, the problem now is just that, in the current state of (receiptless) DIEBOLD voting machines, according to Stalin "It's not the people who vote that count; it's the people who count the votes".

I mean, is it just me, or hasn't anyone else ever wondered why a company that makes ATM cash machines makes a voting machine incapable of returning a (voting) receipt?

I mean, who's responsible for buying voting machines that leaves no paper-trail?

  • @statesRcountries The voting machine fraud is just another plank in the Illuminati's plan to divide, conquer and enslave us. The only thing I can imagine that could save us from them is to participate regrlarly in "The People's Own System" of real democracy. We only need to express our true will once for all to know. Then everything would change for the betterment of mankind.

  • @statesRcountries Right with yeah buddy.

  • @statesRcountries Majoritarianism is 50.01% rule. Democracy is whatever the people make it. It may be a constitutional monarchy or a republic. It may be direct or indirect. It may be compulsive with a 50.01% vote (conqueror's democracy) an overwhelming majority vote (like 80%, collaborative/cooperative democracy) or at no level whatsoever (anarchy).

Citizens have never been given the chance to change this required level for passage. We never speak of it. I'm for 80%.

  • @statesRcountries But then, who makes the law? Isn't it a majority of represenatives sent by a majority of people?

Republic by definition has not given individual rights, nor has democracy.

The truth: a republic and monarchy only mean how a country is seen from outside (whether there is a king or president). But both countries can make law in a democratic way, i.e. through parliament. Or it can make it through few persons (an olligarchy) or soldiers (a timogracy) or by one person (absolutism).

  • "Brain-washing Pictures" presents....

  • bullshit made up word.. MONEY-NISM works everywere

  • Republicanism is where a well armed 49% tell the other 51%: 'Don't tread on me'

  • Elitism is where those with the most brains have the most power. Do you want your doctor to show off his facebook account or his PhDs?

  • Democracy is where 51% of the population enslave the other 49%.

  • @amafuji It would be impossible for 51% to enslave anyone in a real democracy. They want to achieve the American dream, too. Therefore, they won't enact any law that reduces their chances of doing that. However, they would take back that which has been stolen from them and their forefathers by the robber barrons. That's what scares the Illuminati and the politician goons they bought off.

  • the idea of democracy is just a pile of bullshit. take the war in Iraq: 2,000,000 protesters gathered in Hyde Park, but did they listen.

  • well see thats just it. Instead of protesting they should have voted their states senete and congress members who voted for the war out of office.

    That is how democracy works.

  • @blowme23 Asking your legislator to do something for you is like asking your mugger not to take too much of your money or not to hurt you too much. They're all (with few exceptions) bought and paid for by the Illuminati and their goons.

  • @Reaper32837 In a real democracy war would be outlawed unless we were attacked, because the vast majority of us want peace. This isn't democracy. It's demockery. There are no democracies, because the ruling elite monsters that illegally own you and everything you own don't want us to rule ourselves.

  • doctorspankluv is correct. The United States is a republic. Politicians brainwash americans in thinking they are a democracy so people think they have power.

  • Democracy does not currently exist in the U.S.

  • @doctorspankluv Nor has democracy ever existed in the whole world. No country has ever offered its citizens a system that perpetually defines the true will of the governed. That's what it would take to make a true democracy. The will of the majority can not become law as long as it is unknown. There's only one system of democracy on Earth. It's "The People's Own" system of real democracy. Use it or lose everything.

  • these kids need to go to school, they are below sub-par in the field of politics.

  • @ddio123 So you want Anarchy? In a Anarchy you must be guarding life, liberty, and property, or they will be taken away. Anarchy never lasts, because the people in it run to the only people who can make it stop. The very people who started it. (examples The Russian Revolution, and Nazi Germany)

  • In Democracy EVERYONE has the right to vote his favorite tyrant! And that kind of right is equal for everyone too! From a 18 years old guy who doesn't give a seet for political views to a 90 years old lady who wants to honor the bones of the dead (president(s)) with her vote. Cheers to Democracy!

  • @olefunk13 ~ In an actual democracy voters would vote for ideas (solutions) as well as for politicians. And, the politicians would enact our will into law, they'd have no choice.

  • It's so cute. The use of kids to promote democracy in this video is a wonderful idea. It inspires us more to fight for democracy because kids, or the future generation, are the real beneficiaries. It is also interesting to know that kids already have a good idea of what democracy is all about.

  • it says to me we need to get better funding for our schools cause those kids dont know what they are talking about.

  • Nice.

  • I vote for this one!

  • believe me, if the freedom of speech is all democracy has got, 80% of the world is not gonna use it - because, at first, u must have food and if u check how many people are dying right now of hunger... well, i guess your democracy didn't fix any of that, spending so much in weapons and wars instead of feeding your own people, giving them good schools, with well-paid teachers, good hospitals for all your people - you first fix that on your own country, then come talk 2me of your "american dream".

  • @smile4bia Democracy didn't squander the money on war. Demockery did. Democracy is the great lie. There never has been any on Earth. But, there should be, because in a real democracy the will of the people becomes the law of the land. And, the vast majority of all peoples want peace, honest government and prosperity. If you want that, too, participate in "The People's Own" system of democracy ~ the first and only system of democracy on Earth.

  • @stopdemockery Wasn't Athens and a few other Greek states a Pure Democracy=P

  • @LovehammerMedia ~ No. In ancient Athens 90% of the people were slaves. The closest to democracy was the government of Venice which for 200 years endured. It gave weighted votes to the people. The more important your were, the more your vote counted. Like I said, there's never been a real democracy on Earth. But, it's high time we had one to be an example for the other countries.

  • nice vid

see u guys later in andes.

    ethan

  • This gets my vote so far for the top ten vid awards...for the the one vid that reprepesents

  • awesome!

  • I LUV EMMY !!!!!! :) BFF Lily

  • 0:59 thats right! This wins the contest!!

  • Many of them have college and university degrees, they have just fallen on hard times. I have given shelter to a homeless man so I know many of the homeless people who live in our area they are not dumb they just don't have a roof over their head or the means to acquire one. There are many factors leading to homelessness, intelligence level is not necessarily one of them. Let's see your video!

  • Sometimes when you are filming something the film becomes different than you had anticipated, but it doesn't mean you have failed in your effort. let me guess... You are a republican! LOL!

  • Comment removed

  • Children are our future and this video is just an example of that. Some of them had a better grasp on the topic than others- and with age and guidance they will learn the true meaning of democracy and hopefully use its meaning to better the world.

  • With that being said Im not saying people shouldnt post what they believe (because we can we have the luxury of freedom of speech after all) but if you feel this video missed the point of democracy some how- you should honestly spend less time blogging about it and go out, find a child and explain to them what you think democracy is.

  • When the children began talking about freedom of speech they were doing it freely- they decided that having the freedom to speak freely is part of being a democratic society, a society where you have no fear of someone telling you what to say or to say nothing at all.

  • I'm really disappointed in all of the negative comments about this video... Obviously, the commenters dont understand the point. It looked to me like a childs views on Democracy Right or wrong- It was what they thought democracy was- There is no reason to post negative comments about how they didnt define Democracy in the way you or perhaps the dictionary would have described it word for word.

  • @twinklbunny Democracy is a system of governance in which the true will of the people is definitively defined and proclaimed for all to know and made into the law of the land. What we mistakenly call democracy today makes a mockery of the very concept of democracy. So, let's call it what it is: DEMOCKERY!

  • Great video

Actually my nephew school did their own "vote" in fall 2008 for the president. It's called learning ....dmgabri08

This is so kids when they are adults "have a clue" My nephew knew more about the candidates then many adult voters haha

  • cute video, but why are the views of small children who don't know the difference between a democratic and a socialist or fascist state matter. It would be like asking homeless people what their views are. Sure they would represent those unrepresented in society but their input in society is negligible and their intelligence level is questionable.

Sorry I just don't understand what message this is supposed to have beyond cute kids babbling on video about something they have never heard of.

  • freedom of speech/freedom of press are inalienable rights in the USA which were not established so much by democracy as they were established by anarchy to become part of the republic. With democracy, one could lose those inalienable rights. Democracy is great - but I must say that it is not freedom - that is part of the 1st amendment.

  • this is good.
