@jkendall211 It is very easy to poison but almost impossible to clean up. To do a 'proper' job of cleaning this up would surpass all the resources in the world, I imagine. The best they can do is to just sort of cover it up a bit so it doesn't stink so badly. The same goes for radioactive waste, polluted rivers all over the world, etc etc.

Many Vietnam vets still die from cancer; never compensated for their disabilities associated w/agent orange. My husband also suffers. I pray the vets and these innocents of Vietnam are compensated. These companies prosper while many die in the U.S. and Vietnam! Worse, the debilitating diseases create lives of misery and pain. Monetary compensation is the LEAST they can do for those who suffer, while they prosper!!

When I say, they need to clean it up, I was referring to the US government and DOW and monsanto. They should not be able to operate their business until this problem is resolved! I am writing a paper on this for school in the US. I am also shocked at how little people know about this. I have asked several people about agent orange and few people know what it is. Many people think agent orange is an energy drink! Wise up people!

@jkendall211 It is very easy to poison but almost impossible to clean up. To do a 'proper' job of cleaning this up would surpass all the resources in the world, I imagine. The best they can do is to just sort of cover it up a bit so it doesn't stink so badly. The same goes for radioactive waste, polluted rivers all over the world, etc etc.
