  • so geil.

  • what a scene, what a song, what a girl... fucking delicious.

  • David Lynch kicks ass.

  • Sick movie but so well done.

  • This is like day 7 of this song being stuck in my head : \

  • What movie is it?

  • @tradecycles David Lynch's 'Lost Highway'. If you haven't seen it yet, watch it alone with the lights off. It's a crazy, good movie.

  • what a whores looking:)

  • goodbye (litte) baby

  • zdecydowanie najlepszy kawałek z filmu

  • To capture one of those silent, inappropriate moments two people share that they're not supposed to in certain company is brilliant. And hot. I can't say I enjoyed every aspect of this occasionally incoherent movie, but that scene is one in a million. Balthazar's blue collar, over-obvious, longing, and Patricia's reciprocation to a much lesser degree. You can see it never moves beyond lust for her, and she can squash him at any given moment. She knows this before they've even spoken once.

  • I LOVE this movie to death. And this scene is like the epitome of rock 'n' roll.

  • Jeeze you guys are all hung up on Lou Reed.

Check out a version here on YouTube that's gotten fewer than 500 views in at least a year. Artist/channel name is indigomorgan1

  • @SecretAdept Instead of blablaing try reading first . I'm not writing about the movie (which is good by the way but not perfct imo...oh, is it for you , seemingly?) but about The Scene - this video, if u rather (which is near perfection imo, besides this goddam statutic useless face). Understood ?

  • I´m getting harder when i watching her in that movie.

  • hey yo thats complete carzay xxxx ) This guy balthazar Getty when I llok at him here he just appears like m*o*t*h*e*f*k*i*n ridiculous and outrageous comparing to the rest o f the scene ! Oh for god sake ! How can this piece of unexpresseive garbage spoil thie absolute greatness of Arquette now ! Its like, when Arquette is on the screen its a Lynch Masterpiece, when its getty, its you humble folks doing a holiday camping video

  • @vitalico0ocam Instead of hating it try thinking... 'Wait, maybe, because Lynch is the director and everything you see on the screen is exactly what he wanted, the particular expressions and shots of Getty were intended.' You might get further in to interpreting the film and understanding the feelings it provokes from you then. (:

  • @isobel1982 I agree Isobel ! And I m happy to see we think the same, actually. His face, it is so....normal. In french we say "banal" which is like he hasnt got anything else as any other folk around. And he has no sensation on his face. I know Bill Pullman also does not show off too many, and Pete is supposed to be be him...but Bill has far more expression. This guy baltie, he is just like a dead statue without any use at all ! Pathetic no look on his face, staring and serving at nothing imo

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • I will never forget this movie. Sooo fucking confusing. But this is probably my fav scene (obviously thanks to Lou Reed).

  • It's too good and too short!

  • najpiękniejszy moment tego filmu,kiedy spotykam kolejna kobiete mojego życia ta muzyka gra mi w uszach :}

  • @theoko0707 i agree, patricia is beautiful and way underated but this medium show isnt doing her justice

  • niesamowita scena:)

  • @BINGOPINBALL I think it's best possible rock version u cant imagine :)

  • David Lynch's film 'Lost Higway' is simply amazing. In my opinion this is one of the greatest scenes in the history of cinema. Words cannot describe how truly beautiful this is!

  • @Patrikuse Man, I had a crush on the lovely Patricia Arquette at that time -it started with 'True Romance'.

This scene shows what it's like to fall in love. Indeed, no words needed here.

  • Lou Reed and David Lynch.. Great

  • great scene!!I love David Lynch movies and their soundtracks

  • <3 <3

  • what is this song?

  • This Magic Moment by Lou Reed from the Lost Highway Soundtrack.

  • En esta peli me enamore de Patricia Arquette

  • White lightning!!! hot as hell ...

  • anybody else think wes anderson ripped off this scene?

  • which scene and film would that be? would prove good taste if true!

  • royal tenenbaums, when margot greets richie at the port. slow motion, velvet underground member's song, etc.

  • @lisaholmgren

    "LOST HIGHWAY" AN AWESOME MOVIE!!!!!!!!!

  • for those who is don't undertand the film ho n check out the explination by Jon edbirt. it makes sense now

  • Patricia Arquette is hot as hell in this fantastic film.

  • I love how it goes "will last forever" and then it fades out. ha ha, so hot being left unsatisfied like that

  • where the full song

  • I LOVE this movie but...

...the only problem is Balthazar Getty (Pete Dayton) :-(

David Lynch should had cast another actor for this role...

  • nothing to add. just awe. love it!

  • I watched the movie 5 times and I still enjoy watching it.

  • this movie sticks with me

  • I can't put my finger on exactly what it is about Patricia Arquette in this movie. I don't think she's incredibly beautiful...but at the same time I do! It's weird

  • Dick is dead?

  • My favorite part is at 0:49 where she moves her head and her hair moves forward just when the music hits that beat. Amazing.

  • La música perfecta para la perfecta escena... Símplemente Lynch.

  • lost highway is just a masterpiece....

  • i really want it to sing it to you this song before : (

  • un caviar merci lou

  • dick laureant in dead

  • super scene

  • OMG Patricia Arqeutte....im in love......

  • amazing

  • Magiczna scena.

  • the only song that could go in this scene

    smiley face

  • good video

  • such a great movie.

    2nd fave david lynch.

    after blue velvet.

  • I absolutely love this scene!

  • A masterpiece

  • The audio sounds a bit fast and high.

  • One of the greatest movie clips of all time. Everything cinematic art stands for. Brilliant.

  • i agree,

the first time i saw this scene with that song, my mouth fell open..

she looks so amazing, and you can utterly feel what the pete character feels watching her.

    superb film making.

  • yep me too. My mouth fell open too, my tongue rolled on the floor and my eyes popped out. It works every time. I've watched Lost Highway like a million times and it's still as fresh every time. Favourite film.

  • One of my favorite video clips of all time. I love the film and am a big fan of David Lynch's work.

He couldn't have a better actress to play this role. Patricia is not only stunning, but you can really feel her character. The hints of innocence belie her manipulative ways.

    Kudos for posting this!

  • is this whot you saying she is a blody angel-devil no.1 to this role

  • ¿ubi sunt? girls and films like this

  • i just love this movie!

  • Patricia Arquette is brilliant in LH, feminine, sexy and cool. In particular the detached inflection in her voice when she's a brunette, always gives me goose bumps. Certainly one of the great Lynch characters...bueno!!?

  • Well you are easy prey for the black widows out there, Swyke. In this film Arquette is a demon possesed snuff film actress in one part. And a woman who convinces a guy to commit murder for her in part two. That aint sexy, thats scary.

  • Y aun mejor la version de Olga Neuwirth en su opera

  • leave trent reznor of nin to make the soundtrack to this movie.. :D..

  • Patricia Arquette is absolutely stunning in this, and I love that because she doesn't normally play vamp-type characters. I'm a big fan of hers, and think she's quite under-rated.

  • @theoko0707

     She is one sexy spider.

  • @theoko0707 she look like porn she is hot and should play in porn:)

  • Naprawdę dobry kawałek,

    Very good cover !

  • dobry kawalek w chuj film zato jeszcze lepszy

  • love blast..it's these kind of momment when you know it.....

  • That blonde looked spooky in that movie.

  • ...especially when she was still brunette.

  • yup

  • i'd still hit it.

  • Ah, hell yeah!!

  • this is such a great moment. the lou reed cover is perfect, the guitar is so beautiful. david lynch nailed it with this scene. it's so hot, you can totally feel the attraction between them. don't you love those Magic Moments?

  • could u please!!!!!! put on the scene where she strips to i put a spell on you?!!!???? PLEASE

  • sweet

  • david lynch é foda. e essa música traduz muito o amor.

  • IT's LOU REED heheeh thanx

  • Do you have this on DVD? It looks like it is in anamorphic widescreen and I did not realize that there was an anamorphic, much less a widescreen version outside of laserdisc at least for NTSC.

  • I bought the 2 disc Special Edition of Lost Highway from Amazon UK. Its anamorphic, 16X9 ratio. I heard a new American Lost Highway DVD release may be coming out next summer.

  • Esta versión me encanta

  • Una escena preciosa

  • this magic moment, this magic scene, this magic film...

  • adoro esta cancion

  • I love you david!

  • Watching this scene, years ago, I understood that my Ideal girlfriend had to be blue-eyed, bleached blonde and wear white nail varnish...and, obviously, look like Patricia Arquette as much as possible! Does any of you fit the description? :P

  • Patricia Arquette is deadly wicked and incredibly beautiful in Lost Highway. A totally under-rated movie. Great soundtrack to that flick too.

  • Great clip! Thanks! Finally got the soundtrack and loving it.

  • Great clip. Patricia looks very glam and beautiful.

  • This was my favourite scene, seen it on dvd like hundreds times..Wonders of David Lynch

  • PATRICIA HOW CAN I SAY BEAUTIFUL

  • The cinematography is flawless. The slow motion and cutting back and forth between Alice and Pete - look at their eyes. My favorite clip is where Alice is seated in the 2nd car with Mr Eddie silhouetted in the background. As you the door is shut you see her eyes pan from Pete to the bodyguard whose reflection in the winsow is shown in slomo as he shuts the door. Excellent!

  • The beautiful PATRICIA ARQUETTE, the talented and dark David Lynch and OHHHHHHHHHHHHH, LOU?! GREAT COMBINATION. Thank you for cutting and sharing. Delightful.

  • Wow... I'm speechless... Thanx!!

  • glorious
