@13deads The story is really good. Characters are well defined and go through some serious growth (that's a good thing). Combat isn't special but the long nosed creep, Igor, in the Velvet Room provides some extra options. The game is long and there are plenty of side quests. The Social Links and maintaining them also provides something nice. There's a little bit of grinding in the dungeons though..

@zeroxblaster The game is ridiculously easy. The English version is fully in English, dubbed and all, so if you want the voice acting here you'll need to import or find an undub. The game is a good game, but not nearly as good as Persona 1 or 2. Infinitely better than the horror that was 3 though. Basically, it's a decent game on it's own, but a horrible Persona game.
best party is (in my opinion) chie, yukkiko, and teddy. chie is a good physical attacker, and yukkiko and teddie are both excellent healers that can still kick some ass. why two healers, you ask? so that if one healer dies, the other can revive that healer and then that healer can cast diarama. pretty smart eh? ;)
@TheEnigma29 i always liked using kanji, teddie, and yukiko. basically the same party, kanji is good with elec and phys. using power charge+primal force is DEADLY!
@eldorado112 That's the one Naoto has. If you watch the video, it shows Naoto's Persona using Agidyne and it confused me because it doesn't have any elements besides Light/Dark...
oh sorry i never used naoto kanji or teddie so i dont know there persona names besides kanjis. But yeah i knew it was only light and dark hmm thats odd though that it used agidyne

@swordfish1390 Actually that one makes sense because Izanagi does know Zio as a starting move and the early monsters you fight (Tutorial Fight and the first boss) are weak to lightning, hence the Critical Hit. I guess they just switched up Sukuna Hikona's moveset before the game released.

This game has a much stronger cast. It has much better character development. The gameplay is much improved. The whole murder mystery aspect makes this game really intresting too. Persona 3 however, I think, felt a lot more "epic".

If Disgaea 3 can do it so as P5. Its kinda sad how alot of hardcore FPS fan always bashing low buget games as if it isnt worth looking at. hmmm.....glasses used as evokers rather than guns...I kinda liked the idea that the evokers looked liked gun better but I still can't wait till december when the game comes out. It's an RPG game.. Well it's not exactly a dating sim but it has characteristics of one. I don't exactly want to spoil it. Or explain the whole thing. But I honestly think it's a game worth playing.

well im not supriesed that shadows still exist if you remember some dialouge from P3 Mitsuru said that all shadows are is negative human emotions given form so you really cant get rid of them permanently and the point of persona 3 was to get rid of nyx not the shadows
she tells you Elizabeth went to go free a boy from a wall.Makes sence considering Elizabeth sort of fell in love with Minato..if you finish her Visitation requests.
When exactly does this story take place? if this takes place directly after persona 3, it's sorta of depressing to know that the main character's sacrifice was futile because the same shadows would keep showing up anyway. I still don't understand how the world will be destroyed in the persona 3, because the tower only affected their area, didn't it?

hmmm.....glasses used as evokers rather than guns...I kinda liked the idea that the evokers looked liked gun better but I still can't wait till december when the game comes out. Persona 3 truely was an amazing game so hopefully this one will live up to the name. Though I do have a question, will it be rated T instead of M since the evokers will no longer be guns?

they weren't? I thought that that was the primary reason because once i found out it was a dating sim i thought that there was going to be some serious nudity.But i was wrong.....instead i got some nipple shots of some of the female persona. -___-

To all persona lovers out there persona 4 is coming out to ps2, i work at gamestop, and was there when the first pesona 3 game came out before they made persona 3 fes i have also gotten persona 4 vids from my friend from tokyo sent me some vids. so enjoy the game for those who still love ps2

ok persona is just the best game ever created i mean its just that great like i know u might get confused because of them shooting in there heads but u will get over but cant wait till this comes out in the US. It's an RPG game.. Well it's not exactly a dating sim but it has characteristics of one. I don't exactly want to spoil it. Or explain the whole thing. But I honestly think it's a game worth playing.

i would say Persona 4 is coming to PAL (i hope), because Persona 3 did pretty well in Australia & Europe..thats why they are finally releasing Persona 3 FES to PAL in October..so because the Persona sales are doing well,it seems apparent that Persona 4 will come here too...but i'm expecting Feb/March 2009

well the persona 4 takes place in the same reality and japan as well but im not sure if it takes place after but im almost certain it does because it say they are investiganting murders happening in town done by depresed ppl aka shadows

well im not supriesed that shadows still exist if you remember some dialouge from P3 Mitsuru said that all shadows are is negative human emotions given form so you really cant get rid of them permanently and the point of persona 3 was to get rid of nyx not the shadows

The girl there is Margret,Elizabeth's sister.
she tells you Elizabeth went to go free a boy from a wall.Makes sence considering Elizabeth sort of fell in love with Minato..if you finish her Visitation requests.
In other words,she went to go free Minato.

When exactly does this story take place? if this takes place directly after persona 3, it's sorta of depressing to know that the main character's sacrifice was futile because the same shadows would keep showing up anyway. I still don't understand how the world will be destroyed in the persona 3, because the tower only affected their area, didn't it?

lol dude he didn't sacrifice himself to stop shadows but nyx shadows always exist because of humans. As for the tower yea its gone this is the same universe but a different place.
