hey im gonna do the same. weld in the magnapack mufflers. but i had a question. since the stock piping is 2 1/4 did you get the 2 1/4 inlet/outlet muffler? and how long of a muffler dod you use? and if you can get a part #?

Sounds awesome man!!! Why did you switch from the Flowmasters to the Magnapacks?? Is there a difference in hp, is one more or less restrictive than the other?? or did you do it for the sound?? I personally like the sound of the Flowmasters better but the Maganapacks sound sick!!!!

i mainly did it for the sound, i just wanted something different i still love the flowmaster sound though...as far a hp difference...maybe like 1-2hp, flowmasters are more restrictive because they have baffles and the exhaust flow is "channeled" for lack of a better word, magnapacks are completely straight through, you can pick them up and look straight through them to the other side lol

Oh ok. I went with the 40 series on my 2007 F150 and I heard the same thing about them being restrictive but I love the sound of them because I'm not trying to get 400hp out of a pickup truck.

I'll be prolly be going with the same setup that you have on your Mustang because it sounds awesome!!! Does it have a loud drone in the car while driving?? My gf doesn't like the drone in the F150..lol

thanks bud you should check out my vid with the stage 2 cams!!, but done isnt to bad around 2400 to 2500 rpm...i have 3.73 gears so thats about 70mph for me. but i dont think the flowmasters droned anymore than these..i think women just dont understand ;)

in the vid it has BBK CAI Professional Products 75mm throttle body Professional Products 75mm Plenum BBK Longtubes BBK o/r x pipe Magnapacks 3.73 gears Eibach pro springs in the front Stock cut springs in the rear Steeda tri ax shifter canned diablo tune, Now the car has Hitech stage 2 cams! :)

Oh and are there better aftermarket intake manifolds? or are the stockers more than enough?

gettin on a dyno this weekend, will make a vid of it, and ive been told the stock intake manifolds do just find, there is a article about some aftermarket intake manifold, and it jumped the peak HP by 25 to the wheels BUUUT, that was at over 5000 RPM, and it lost low end torque, so you only have like a 1000 rpms of extra power for $700, not really worth it, i might do some research on how they perform with cams and go from there.

tits, i'm psyched for the vid.

My trucks on fucking life support, clutch went... so its out in the garage with the exhaust disconnected but still stuck up there cuz of the cross member, both drives shafts hald disconnected, cross member out, and jacks supporting the transer case and transmission.. getting frustrated with it, haha transfer case doesn't want to come off of the transmission.

hm. did you do rockers as well with the cam swap?

no rockers, i dont think they are very popular on these cars, i havent heard of many people swapping them out
