WTF are you talking about? They always chart hi hat like this.
In the part where both hands are on hi hat they always do it like that when there's no snare in the section. There's no snare till the end of the section
Mostly correct, although the reverse error has occasionally been charted like that part of Red Barchetta (Red hi-hat and blue cymbals before a green crash, but no snare during that part). "Linger" is also questionable.
Charting it on the yellow in that part before the crash doesn't require any crossovers or LLRR in Red Barchetta, making it harder to pass for sightreaders, although it does make a little more sense for an FC in the intro to Everlong since it does have two yellow notes instead of three.
I forgot to mention "Kiss Them for Me" as an opposite example.
If this was a sight read, how did the drummer know exactly how to play the unseen notes under the green fill section at 2:08?

Red barchetta is like that because it is before a disco beat nd it helps the transition between the two sections.

look from 1:47 to 2:08 theres a hi-hat roll on the yellow pad, they never do that, even when theres no snare.. but never mind..

Uh... Yeah they do. Hungry like the wolf and one of the Fleetwood Mac songs.
