Basic house groove. ... but not badly played. Avoid the random banging effect. Practice! Practice! Practice! You're not ready for solo work yet, but you have potential. Some people don't even have a sense of rhythm. I think you do. A good drum solo is a show--off piece with plenty of gee-whiz factor, chops, studly polyrhythms, speed, passion, continuity and flow, power, elements of surprise and builds to a frightening crescendo that leaves folks saying, "How does he do that?" Good luck.
