It has a progressive double drop (what i call it) allowing it to be taller than some other double drop boards that have a sudden drop like the killswitch/switchblade. ive ridden the switchblade and it felt a bit long (i'm 5'10" or so) and the A-4 feels just so much more comfy. the A-4s pockets are amazing also. The W-concave doesnt bother my feet at all for when im pushing. I <3 my A-4. Get one. seriously:)
About how much wear do I have to put on 76a candies to make them have silent slides like danny's. I've put on about 2 hours of riding and taken off about 1 or 2mm but they still chatter, if they won't get silent and buttery soon I'll just trade them.
Keep chuggin on them. Candies are a DH wheel at first with a good amount of grip to them. Because Nersh tend to last longer than other wheels, they can take a bit longer to get to their sweet spot for freeriding.
