Awful scene. Obviously, the Cobra Commander concept is terrible but what happens with the Destro character is just as bad. This turns Destro into a wimp. And his face turning into a mask is ridiculous and unnecessary. How does Stephen Sommers keep getting work????

I didn't hate this movie for a couple of reasons: for starters, I never really grew up with G.I. Joe when I was a kid; also, I enjoyed this movie because or all the mindless and idiotic action, it was so much fun, not to mention the actors were enjoyable, since it looked like they were really enjoying themselves. Especially JGL, because his performance was so delightfully over the top.

Destro looks okay. BUT HOW THE FUCK DO YOU FUCK UP COBRA COMMANDER'S MASK. I may not be a hard core G.I joe fan but at least I know that if a franchise ain't broke don't try to fix it cuz you'll only fuck it up beyond belief. Thank god for the director of the next G.I joe movie!

@TheDrYes Not to mention they got Ray Stevenson as Firefly, the cobra soldiers look freaking awesome too, they kill off all the Joes from the first movie, except for Snake-Eyes. Yes, Duke is in it, but not long. Tatum even said his scenes only took two days. Only one I'm bummed about is Scarlett, and Destro and the Baroness are MIA so far.
