Right away I was reminded a little of Joe Driscoll. Then I felt a strange reminder of Janis Joplin. I have to say by the end I was enthralled and now I have to go see more on you tube
Wow. Fascinating. Never before have I beheld a woman playing a violin both pizzicato and arco at the same time. Unique, unconventional plucking/strumming techniques. Beautiful how she controls her sample/capture/mix/replay circuitry with her feet like Bach playing a pedal organ. And those gypsy-like strains she wrings from her violin when she's playing it arco are lovely and fitting. Very multitalented woman.

Did she study at Julliard or Blue Bear? I think I know her from way back. My violin playing was sort of an experiment gone wrong. I was so young its amazing I could hold a violin. It was a humiliating experience, then my real love became classical piano but they pushed me to perform large live recitals too fast & being a perfectionist I would get stage fright & sick & mess up. So I hated it & it cost me my ability to play. Moved to chess & I was too good so I lost that one too. Sorrow stays.

Did she study at Julliard or Blue Bear? I think I know her from way back. My violin playing was sort of an experiment gone wrong. I was so young its amazing I could hold a violin. It was a humiliating experience, then my real love became classical piano but they pushed me to perform large live recitals too fast & being a perfectionist I would get stage fright & sick & mess up. So I hated it & it cost me my ability to play. Moved to chess & I was too good so I lost that one too. Sorrow stays.
