This week is going to be one of the best weeks in my life, but it's going to be one of the most difficult ones without my daddy. </3 He died febuary 17th 2010 and i was his babygirl. I was 15 and it was the one of the toughest things i've gone through in my life, he was everything to me other then my mom. This song came out when my wife and I were going through some very hard times it was when my daughter was diagnosed with ALL leaukemia at the age of 14 mos and we had to give her chemo at home and also spent alot of time at RILEY childrens hospital man what a rough time now I can look back and wipe the sweat off of my brow this song makes me cry and not only that but my wife was pregnant with our son at the time ........

He die about 3 years ago never really knew my dad cuz he was in and out of my life. my dad was my dad and i still love him even if he did emotional hurt me... i dont think he meant to do half the things that he did i just think that he didnt know how to be a dad. but i was lucky to have a wonderful grandfather to take the role of my father. i miss my dad but i would miss my grandfather more if anything ever happened to him.

This week is going to be one of the best weeks in my life, but it's going to be one of the most difficult ones without my daddy. </3 He died febuary 17th 2010 and i was his babygirl. I was 15 and it was the one of the toughest things i've gone through in my life, he was everything to me other then my mom. I used to think it was my fault and I had done something wrong so as not to deserve his love. He left me, my sister, my brother and my mum with nothing. Adopted, biological, doesn't matter. it's the LOVE we can have for that person that counts most. I do wish to send you my condolences on his passing but he will live forever because you hold him within your heart and thats the one place no one can take him away :)

And of course, DNA has nothing to do with being a dad. Of course, he looked at you as his daughter. He is your Guardian Angel now. That is the only solace I get knowing my mom is watching over me. To ashistaken82107, I never knew my "biological" father till I was 35 and then he was on basically his last leg and died six weeks later from Hepatitis C and Renal cancer, but still thankful for the short time that I knew him.

Wish my exboyfriend believed this. He has three little girls. Two he doesn't really give a damn about and the other he doesn't acknowledge. The other two what he does is close to neglect because the 7 year old is in the second grade and she is at a kindergarden level in school which he doesn't try to help improve and instead makes excuses. my dad passed away almost 3 yrs ago when i was 14. he walked out the door and smiled at me and 5 minutes later i received a call no child wants to receive. i miss him so much. I LOVE YOU!!

my real father abandon my mother me and my older sister...so all my life my daddy has been my grandfather, my mother's dad, i called him pawpaw. he use to always said that i would always be his little girl all the way up to the day he went home to heaven in 2007. He got to hear this song too and he use to sing it to me too....so i always tear up when i hear it and think of him but i know that he is at peace, he is home now!

this song makes me soooo happy yet sad cause my dad and i never get to see each other cause i live with my mom but i go over as often as i can and one day at 2 am i was awake in bed (cause i just got done watching a eps of doctor who) and i guess he thought i was asleep and walked by my door and said "i love u" i rolled on my side and said "daddy love u more" he smiled and walked off to bed and i love him a whole big bunch and will always be his little girl :D

This video brought tears to my eyes. I've always been a daddy's girl. When I started becoming a teen we had tiffs, and still do, but he's always been there for me. Being away at school has made me appreciate the parents I have all over again. And this video reminded me on how much I need to make sure they know that.
