Nope, its only got one GTX card and newer ones use less power. Plus the Corsair 520 is actually rated a little low, so is the 620, they have been shown to be comparable to other companies 600W units.
Hey can you tell me which power supply is better for SLI and overclocking? A Corsair HX 520 PS that has several 12 volt rails with low amps or the Corsair 550VX that has 1 12volt rail with a lot of amps? Please help me and nice pc.
If you have the money get the HX 520W. However, it depends on what SLI cards you want to use. I would probably get a larger PSU if you were doing anything over OCed 9600GT cards. You can run 2 8800GT cards, but you'd be close to pushing it, especially if you overclock your CPU by a lot.
I was thinking of running 2 EVGA 9600GT SSC or 2 8800GT SSC, so should I go for 600w or more? And whats better multiple 12volt rails that have low amps or a single 12volt rail with a lot of amps?
It really depends. If you get a high quality PSU single and multiple rails wont really matter. Stability for both kinds are equal if they are quality units. If you are on a bit of a budget, you can get the 650W VX Corsair model and you should be just fine. The HX520W will probably handle the 8800GT sli, but it would be pushing it close to the limit.
Oh ok :) Gotcha. We don't really ship internationally unless it's to an aop at the moment and we usually don't do just motherboard and case barebones, but we do build complete custom systems where you can pick whatever parts you want.
we """"usually""" don't do just motherboard and case barebones,
what if i payed a extra 400$
people here where i live wire the pc and stuff but its not as neat as companies
i have a pc but the case really got boring (Tt armore) i would luv if i got a cosmos S with a huge 360 radiator on the case but the wiring that people do here sux
He did and he liked this one better. Some people don't need or want LEDs on the cases. The Cosmos 1000 looks a lot more classy, where as the S is a gamers "look at me" case :)
is 520W not a liddle bit low for that system?!
