We all know she was the actual champion. A difficult and dynamic routine performed with amazing poise, artistry, and amplitude. So reassuring to see such great gymnastics. However, as is often the case, tainted by bad judging.

I think she should have won even with the step. She should have gotten 9.9 minimum. Although, they should have taken less off for the step. Lyssenko got higher than a 9.9 on her vault even though she took a step.
