excellent though i think a little toothed belt from a belt sander or something would be quieter - i have a 160 watt solar paneled canoe that does a brisk walking speed with no battery or bit more with battery
The battery I used for this weighed 790 grams. It is rated at 5Ah 24V. I was drawing about 7 amps doing 10kph so I would get 6 to 7km on a charge. It is only experimental. I am working on a larger solar powered boat.
