@Nerdulator yeah but what you could say then,if he wasnt killed, how much more he could improve his speed...imagine him 20-30 % faster than this ....he is master of art but actually at first place he was very smart and good man, then fighter, with world losing him, world lose all smart things he would find out,and that things you can also use in real life....actually martial arts are life, every thing you do is martial arts, the way you doing things and how you make stance for them...
@worldred22 Yeah it always is that way, if you are too nice, or too good at something people always become jealous of it and then try to kill you. I know I am too smart and people hate it because I can make something out of basically nothing.
if anyone would have a chance against bruce it might be Donnie, but in reality Chuck Norris heald the world title for years and trained with bruce lee for years as well, Chuck is alive now and is probably in good shape still
You can be as fast as you like but if your timing is off it means very little, It was the combination of speed timing and accuracy that made Bruce the outstanding MA of his time. He would have cringed at the basic mistakes MA's make these days trying to be acrobats. Once up there you have no control and your life is in the hands of the Gods. They look good against inferior opponents but had they tried those stunts with Bruce they'd be a lot of work for the local hospital repairing cracked skulls
bruce lee is lighter than donnie yen. donnie yen is much more muscular and buff so his speed is slower. bruce lee was more ripped and lean so his speed is faster.
@amouralizee Bruce Lee is actually bigger, though speed is not affected by muscularity. That is a stereotype from bodybuilders with giant biceps, which slow punching speed significantly. before i was a boxer, i was a weightlifter, but coach told me to quit the biceps but keep the bench press and tricep and back work. I gained both speed from losing the dead weight and power from working key muscles better.
@amouralizee well through about 6 years i now do 6 sets of 10 with 345 with an altered grip that utilizes my triceps more and i havent slowed any. I actually hit my punk ass brother in law a while back with solid right jab took his feet out :D the bodybuilders typically do sets of 3-5 and do no cardio
Nothing against Donnie i like his movies. To me he is an actor with skills like Jackie Chan and Jet Lee . How can you even compare him to Bruce Lee? Bruce was a true martial artist and a pioneer.
@florand But don't you think it's kinda unfair to say Donnie Yen is not a true martial artist? He did wushu from a young age, is a 6th dan in TKD and has had experience in muay tai, wrestling, judo, bjj, the ways of parkour and mma. I'm sure he would feel insulted if you said to him that he is not a real martial artist? Haha... he is exactly the same as bruce lee in terms of principle. Martial arts lead to media... Donnie just isn't as widely known.
@NightRider2k8 I didn't say anything bad about Donnie. Did i?I am just saying that Bruce Lee is a pioneer. I know all about Donnie mate. I love Donnie Yen. He is one of the best martial artists/actors of all time. If you haven't watched "Iron Monkey" or "Hero" or "Ip Man" 1 & 2, or even "Shanghai Knights" or any other movie featuring Donnie, you should. That said, Bruce was the Greatest, period.
well unfortunately bruce died in his early 30s and donnie is 47 now so he's had the luxury of practicing for an extra 15years. Could you imagine what bruce could be with 15 years more practice and his work ethic.
To all those people who say that Bruce Lee could not fight because he never did a competition well ok hmmm its the 60 - 70's I am the very first full contact fighter in the USA, my training is similar to modern MMA fighters what would be the point of me entering a semi-contact tournament the moment I knock someone out I get disqualified. Benny the Jet was a so so point fighter but become a world full contact kickboxing champion 5 times so it just shows semi and full contact are words appart
It's funny because, donnie is a actor and I think people forget. Bruce was a martial artist first THEN an actor / director. Donnie yen was a actor that had to learn a little wing-chung..
Bruce lee threw 3 total punches in the same time it took donnie to throw 2. Donnie is fantastic, But in the end all these arguments of bruce lee is nothing compared to fighters today etc. in the end we'll never know how much would he have progressed by now, how much would he have adapted. no one can say for sure, what can be said is that with the limitations of his eras knowledge, he was miles ahead of his time as far as health ability and understanding of the body
@plutoburn is it true 'real kung fu' has become completely extinct? Even in shaolin monk temples? I heard this and I find it quite depressing. Apparently it was a mixture of, as you said, a cultural/political revolution and the westernisation of kung fu- where they made everything flashy to make shows for money. Apparently the real stuff wasn't flashy at all just really efficient. My sources aren't strong (just internet surfing) but maybe you don't know either and i'm asking the wrong person.
ppl u cant compare because bruce has passed, so there is no comparison. donnie is hands down the best martial artist on film ever, maybe even in world ranking. bruce was ridiculous and some of the things he did were astonishing but he couldnt act out his martial arts on film to save his life it all looked like shit, which being the 60s and 70s thats part to blame.
they have too speed up Donnie Yen's in a moive shoot and they told Bruce Lee he have too slow down because he was too fast for the cameras.. this is not my word is the word of ppl that was there by interview
One of the things also needed to be taken in consideration is that the cameras back in the days Bruce Lee was on the screen, couldn't match his speed, a couple of articles and interviews with Bruce states that he had to slow down his maximum speed so the cameras could keep up. We would all love to see what Bruce Lee could have done if it was shot with one of the high speed cameras we have today.
I think Bruce would've had an advantage against Donnie Yen with his speed but then again who knows.
Well I think some of the stuff in Donnie Yen's movies are sped up bro. Not saying that this particular scene is sped up, but you should check your source.
Everyone who says bruce lee beat chuck norris, it was a damn movie, in real life bruce lee wouldnt have been hit once by chuck. So compare there actual skill and martial arts background. Donnie yen would be a great match for bruce lee in fact. However who would win, either man can claim the victory and the fight honestly because there both so skilled in there own way with incredible speed, it wouldnt last that long.
@KFUPANDA1 Thing is, bruces speed (acording to some who trained with/by him) say that that speed was actualy HEAVY. Meaning to say, that his speed was not the regular tipy tapy speed demonstrated by many, but each move with his speed would cause severe damage if one took any one blow of him.
actually we cannot compare the two because of two different styles, but because bruce is demonstrating his speed with a live person who is trying to defend against his attack. donnie's clip is from a movie and it is choreographed. So although donnie is fast the other man is paid to be slow.
Interesting, I think I would much rather see a speed comparison between Bruce Lee and his teacher at his prime, though this is unlikely since there is little actual video of Ip Man during the time when he was forming his school.
cameras r different, and one was movie other is demonstration, so no comparison gata have both do demo and same camera to know. but i still tink both of them r badasses tho >:D
Chinese martial arts were outlawed during the cultural revolution and those who practiced it either hid or left the country. Mao later reintroduced it to gain popularity and reformed it into wushu, a sport with standardized branches and rulesets. It's both full contact AND display.
It's nowhere near as diverse as 'kung fu' but being standardized it allows for competing and the only way chinese martial artists can gain the title 'Champion', like Donnie Yen and Jet Li
@tallhagen01 That is correct. What Mao also did was to DELETE all of the FIGHTING TRAINING from the new Wushu so that the martial artists only learned the FORM of the art & not it's true essence. That is why SO much of "kung-fu" today is great for form, acrobatics, keeping fit, doing movies, but when it comes to actual fighting most of the time such practitioners lose or have lost, which is why Kung-fu got a UN-Deserved rep of being "pretty but useless in a fight" NOT true of REAL Gungfu at all!
No Comparison i think Donnie Yen is badass but fighting movies are sped up alittle bit to give it that fast pace aggressive fighting plus it looks cool. And bruce Lee's video was proly captured on an 8mm and u could hardly see his hands so NO COMPARISON
they use a technique to speed up donnie yen's moves in some of his movies, i forgot what its called, but bruce was actually that fast in the demonstration video u showed...no camera tricks, u cant compare a movie to a real live demonstration
Some people here don't know what the fuck they are saying yet they speak as if they are the expert. Wu Shu is not a marital art??!! Wu Shu means marital art in Chinese. Wu shu is not a style like karate or judo wu shu means martial arts.
Wu shu is a watered down version of Chinese martial art that was deemed "safe" by the Communist regime to practice by the commoners. Real martial art is banned in China and many great martial art master was killed during the "cultural revolution"
@plutoburn HAHAHA.... Where the fuck did you get that definition from? Wikipedia? If you understand Chinese you will know that the word Wu Shu translate to marital arts, so what you are saying is "marital arts is a watered down version of Chinese marital art" which don't make much fucken sense. Just like how they call Po's master "Shifu" in Kung Fu Panda, "master master".
@xrey2000 Kung Fu translate to martial art, wu shu is a demostration art. I am saying wu shu is a watered down version of kung fu. If you understand Chinese, you would know. 功夫 =\= 武術
@plutoburn Sound like you are the one who don't understand Chinese! Kung Fu don't translate to marital arts it translate to skills!! You can have kung fu in cooking, sewing or break dancing is just simply means skills not martial arts. Go ask someone who can speak Chinese before you come here and make a fool out of yourself. Wu Shu is martial arts in Chinese, that why when you go to a Chinese martial art school you always see the character "武".
Don't understand Chinese? 是嗎? 我覺得我蠻懂中文耶. 你如果對清朝歷史還有共產黨了解多一點你就不會以為現代中國"武術" 真的是以前傳統流傳下來的. The censorship covered more than just the media under the communist government, You can argue semantics all you want, but I use different terms (kung fu vs wushu) to raise a point on the difference between "traditional" Chinese martial art vs the elaborate dance-like fitness routine that's called modern day wushu.
@plutoburn Yes, but what I'm saying is that it's not a type of "censorship". That's more of a reform, and a crackdown enforcing the reform. It's a suppression of "culture". Censorship refers to suppression of "speech" or "communication".
@skyemptyhollow Once again, stop arguing semantics. Also, you may consider it a cultural, but a studied martial artist can be considered an armed person, and stopping the people from practising "real" kung fu is a way of taking away the power from the people. In the end, going back on topic, wu shu is not real kung fu, but government sanctioned exercise/dance demonstration sport.
I'm just correcting you so people don't get the wrong idea. You're talking about a country as a whole, so while you seem laid-back not worrying about "semantics", I'm just letting you know that "censorship" is wildly different in practice to "cultural reform".
Anyway, yes, practising real CMA is definitely taking power away from the people. So is censorship. However, they're still different things.
Ah, and by the way, I happen to be a martial artist as well, and whilst I can agree that martial arts is important, you shouldn't make light of changes that are "cultural".
"you may consider it a cultural, but a studied martial artist can be considered an armed person"
A people die when their culture dies.
[Not to say I disagree with what you've been saying, but misinforming people about the right things is sometimes as bad as not informing them at all.]
no one knows who would win, both are pretty fast, you will know it when you saw all donnie yens movies, that this scene here shows nothing of his speed. but true this comparisation is stupid.
donnie yen doesnt fight in the movies how he learned it, he makes his moves looking special for the movies, otherwise it would look pretty much like jet li and many other martial arts actors, but you never saw such moves like donnies from anybody else and thats why i like almost all of his movies.
Are people seriously comparing Donnie Yen and Bruce Lee? Just think way, twenty year old Bruce Lee vs twenty year old Donnie Yen, with everything they knew at that age in their life. Who would win? Bruce.
@DRCsyntax Actually no there is no end because how would you know that? They both were trained well its not like you know for a fact Bruce would have one. Some people just think that Donnie was a movie martial artist and not a real one but this isnt true. Especially the fact that if you want to be really good in movies involving martial arts you must learn it and for that a fight between the two could go any way so people should stop being ignorant.
I saw a documentary where someone asked Bruce Lee if he ever met somebody as fast as him and he answered that he did actually met a few people faster than him but he just learned to be deceptive!
Bruce Lee is the greatest, but i can't help feel there is an unfair comparison between BW film vs colored. Of course the human eyes will notice and follow color more easily than just BW. Both are super!
bruce lee only trained under ip man in wing chun style which he later dropped and developed his own style jeet kun do which is a alittle bit of everything, he trained in many many different styles and combined the best in all worlds to suite him
Bruce lee is the greatest I belive he is greater than yip man why because he completed as well master other styles that take the advrage years bruce only a few weeks he took the weakness out of styles and created jeet kwon do dont get ge wrong yip is a bad mother fucka too lol Im glad he taught bruce but I say the best I saw since bruce lee is donnie yen
@JBL3KINGS yess indeed, but Yip Man didnt havv that exact opportunity knowing that he wasnt an actor and wasnt as rich to where he developed that certain type to do so.. please dont hate if my words or not so accurate
To my believe Bruce's acceleration is very high both negative and positive one, it means the control is very high so the purpose of the strike is clearly defined.
my final comment would be is that it would be one hell of a close match, both learned wing chun, and a few other martial arts but i could really think of no clear winner though i lean a little more towards bruce lee(but donnie yen is still my favorite, i just know when to admit defeat) only becuz Yip Man(my most respected martial artist) was his master
Bruce got 3 hits in one motion to Donnie's 2. That's how much faster he is than Donnie. Donnie is fast tho, I'd hate to be on the receiving end of EITHER man's punches
@Teamo86 there should be bruce lee jokes. not chuck norris jokes. bruce ripped dat niggas chest hairs out...blew em off his palm at chucks face...oh your tears cure cancer? bruce lee dont give no fuck!
The video quality back then seemed to have a lag effect like in this one bruce lee's part looks so slowed down and donnie's was more up tempo. But yea both incredibly talented fighters but NO BODY compares to Bruce.
@ludy83 true, but they're different kinds of martial arts actors. Bruce Lee's movie fighting was more realistic and he was a faster and more practically skilled fighter in real life. Martial artists like Yuen Biao, Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung focused more on making their fights entertaining to watch by using flashy moves and props. They're just skilled in different ways but they're all awesome.
@sHART1780 true, but donnie yen wined some wushu championshiop, and his mother is one of the most important master of tai chi and wushu, Mark Bow Sim, also he studies taekwondo, kickboxing and boxing, then he studies with Wu Bin, Master of Jet Li...
@ludy83 and man you have to see his biceps, incredible, (Drunken Tai Chi or Kill Zone), he has an incredible physical condition, and he is older than bruce lee was, I think Donnie Yen is the most skilled ever. i dont know who will win a fight but martial arts are not allways about fighting with people, and donnie yen is more skilled
@ludy83 i agree that people like Donnie Yen are incredibly talented. Wu Shu actually isn't a martial art meant for seriously fighting though. It's actually more of a acrobatic sport meant mostly for show. It's used in movies a lot because of that. Donnie Yen is talented in other martial arts too like wing chun and boxing. he's in great shape especially for his age.
@sHART1780 Wu Shu simply just means Chinese martial arts, which consists of numerous styles.... sooo your statement is basically false. To add to your comment, I believe the only real arts that weren't mean directly for fighting were like Tai Chi but even then it directly helps you with your physical ability to fight. What all martial arts embody are things like being centered and well grounded as well as striving for perfectly balanced movement etc.
i have to say that Bruce Lee was a amazing kung fu master and his kung fu is better than Donnie Yen. however, Donnie Yen also has good kung fu skill and i will always support him.
are you serious?????? study the video.. i mean really study it!! It is so obvious that Bruce's speed and control is far beyond Donnie Yen's. I have yet to see a movie where the actor's speed was so fast it dosnt even register on camera like in ENTER THE DRAGON. When Bruce was matched with Ohara.. not the first, not the second, but the third square up when Ohara tried to block Bruce's attack and bruce popped him with a back hand... YOU DONT EVEN SEE IT UNTIL YOU SLOW THE VIDEO DOWN!! watch it
no offense to any 1 going for bruce lee. They both do wing chun and then bruce lee made his own punch were donnie sticks to wing chun and wu shu. wing chun was scientifically proven the worlds fastest way to punch and if u watch some of donnie yen's other movies compar ip man 1+2. im going with donnie yen i still love bruce lee he is insanely fast. R.I.P
you know that's when donnie started his kung fu wasnt at bruce lee's level in that movie. Donnie has evolved, but still Bruce Lee will always be the master.
well you cant really compare because Donnie yen had practice with the movie fight scenes Bruce lee does this but surprise. and its obvious Bruce was faster
bruce lee Very good.. but Donie Yen is alive now!!! the next generation

@deadmanlyndon That was not real combat but a movie. However I do think bruce would win in a NHB fight.

wat movie is that with donnie yen? D:
FuryLobo 6 months ago
actually we cannot compare the two because of two different styles, but because bruce is demonstrating his speed with a live person who is trying to defend against his attack. donnie's clip is from a movie and it is choreographed. So although donnie is fast the other man is paid to be slow.

Interesting, I think I would much rather see a speed comparison between Bruce Lee and his teacher at his prime, though this is unlikely since there is little actual video of Ip Man during the time when he was forming his school.

Wushu is a sport.
Chinese martial arts were outlawed during the cultural revolution and those who practiced it either hid or left the country. Mao later reintroduced it to gain popularity and reformed it into wushu, a sport with standardized branches and rulesets. It's both full contact AND display.
It's nowhere near as diverse as 'kung fu' but being standardized it allows for competing and the only way chinese martial artists can gain the title 'Champion', like Donnie Yen and Jet Li
tallhagen01 6 months ago
@tallhagen01 That is correct. What Mao also did was to DELETE all of the FIGHTING TRAINING from the new Wushu so that the martial artists only learned the FORM of the art & not it's true essence. That is why SO much of "kung-fu" today is great for form, acrobatics, keeping fit, doing movies, but when it comes to actual fighting most of the time such practitioners lose or have lost, which is why Kung-fu got a UN-Deserved rep of being "pretty but useless in a fight" NOT true of REAL Gungfu at all!
Gungfuman77 6 months ago
Bruce Lee threw 3 punches in half the time Donnie threw two. Plus Donnie Yen is acting and Bruce Lee is doing a real demonstration.
IpManWingChun100 6 months ago
No Comparison i think Donnie Yen is badass but fighting movies are sped up alittle bit to give it that fast pace aggressive fighting plus it looks cool. And bruce Lee's video was proly captured on an 8mm and u could hardly see his hands so NO COMPARISON

Some people here don't know what the fuck they are saying yet they speak as if they are the expert. Wu Shu is not a marital art??!! Wu Shu means marital art in Chinese. Wu shu is not a style like karate or judo wu shu means martial arts.

@Black19Crow Wrong.Nobody knows the origin of martial arts. The shaolin doctrine was brought to China by a buddhist monk from India.
legitfreek 5 months ago
@legitfreek want to know the orgin...? its chuan fa and chinese kenpo thats the orgin
Black19Crow 5 months ago
@xrey2000
Wu shu is a watered down version of Chinese martial art that was deemed "safe" by the Communist regime to practice by the commoners. Real martial art is banned in China and many great martial art master was killed during the "cultural revolution"
plutoburn 5 months ago
@plutoburn HAHAHA.... Where the fuck did you get that definition from? Wikipedia? If you understand Chinese you will know that the word Wu Shu translate to marital arts, so what you are saying is "marital arts is a watered down version of Chinese marital art" which don't make much fucken sense. Just like how they call Po's master "Shifu" in Kung Fu Panda, "master master".
xrey2000 4 months ago
@xrey2000 Kung Fu translate to martial art, wu shu is a demostration art. I am saying wu shu is a watered down version of kung fu. If you understand Chinese, you would know. 功夫 =\= 武術
plutoburn 4 months ago
@plutoburn Sound like you are the one who don't understand Chinese! Kung Fu don't translate to marital arts it translate to skills!! You can have kung fu in cooking, sewing or break dancing is just simply means skills not martial arts. Go ask someone who can speak Chinese before you come here and make a fool out of yourself. Wu Shu is martial arts in Chinese, that why when you go to a Chinese martial art school you always see the character "武".

@xrey2000
Don't understand Chinese? 是嗎? 我覺得我蠻懂中文耶. 你如果對清朝歷史還有共產黨了解多一點你就不會以為現代中國"武術" 真的是以前傳統流傳下來的. The censorship covered more than just the media under the communist government, You can argue semantics all you want, but I use different terms (kung fu vs wushu) to raise a point on the difference between "traditional" Chinese martial art vs the elaborate dance-like fitness routine that's called modern day wushu.
plutoburn 3 months ago
@plutoburn It wasn't "censorship" lol. It was a "youth group" driven crackdown on all things traditional.
skyemptyhollow 3 months ago
@skyemptyhollow
Youth group were manipulated by Mao to regain power during cultural revolution.
plutoburn 3 months ago
@plutoburn Yes, but what I'm saying is that it's not a type of "censorship". That's more of a reform, and a crackdown enforcing the reform. It's a suppression of "culture". Censorship refers to suppression of "speech" or "communication".
skyemptyhollow 3 months ago
@skyemptyhollow Once again, stop arguing semantics. Also, you may consider it a cultural, but a studied martial artist can be considered an armed person, and stopping the people from practising "real" kung fu is a way of taking away the power from the people. In the end, going back on topic, wu shu is not real kung fu, but government sanctioned exercise/dance demonstration sport.
plutoburn 3 months ago
@plutoburn -sigh-
I'm just correcting you so people don't get the wrong idea. You're talking about a country as a whole, so while you seem laid-back not worrying about "semantics", I'm just letting you know that "censorship" is wildly different in practice to "cultural reform".
Anyway, yes, practising real CMA is definitely taking power away from the people. So is censorship. However, they're still different things.
skyemptyhollow 3 months ago
Ah, and by the way, I happen to be a martial artist as well, and whilst I can agree that martial arts is important, you shouldn't make light of changes that are "cultural".
"you may consider it a cultural, but a studied martial artist can be considered an armed person"
A people die when their culture dies.
[Not to say I disagree with what you've been saying, but misinforming people about the right things is sometimes as bad as not informing them at all.]
skyemptyhollow 3 months ago
chuck norris was as good as bruce at that time therefore i belive donnie is as good as bruce lee
peniela1 7 months ago
no one knows who would win, both are pretty fast, you will know it when you saw all donnie yens movies, that this scene here shows nothing of his speed. but true this comparisation is stupid.
donnie yen doesnt fight in the movies how he learned it, he makes his moves looking special for the movies, otherwise it would look pretty much like jet li and many other martial arts actors, but you never saw such moves like donnies from anybody else and thats why i like almost all of his movies.
Soru1984 7 months ago
Even in slow motion he looks faster than this Mr. yen
vzuani 7 months ago
Are people seriously comparing Donnie Yen and Bruce Lee? Just think way, twenty year old Bruce Lee vs twenty year old Donnie Yen, with everything they knew at that age in their life. Who would win? Bruce.
End of the silly argument.
DRCsyntax 7 months ago
@DRCsyntax Actually no there is no end because how would you know that? They both were trained well its not like you know for a fact Bruce would have one. Some people just think that Donnie was a movie martial artist and not a real one but this isnt true. Especially the fact that if you want to be really good in movies involving martial arts you must learn it and for that a fight between the two could go any way so people should stop being ignorant.

Bruce Lee is more skilled than anyone, but that doesn't mean there aren't other amazing martial arts action stars.
sHART1780 1 year ago
@sHART1780 bruce lee was not so skilled, he used to use stun actors like yen biao to do jump kicks and air flips, donnie yen have no doubles.
ludy83 8 months ago
@ludy83 true, but they're different kinds of martial arts actors. Bruce Lee's movie fighting was more realistic and he was a faster and more practically skilled fighter in real life. Martial artists like Yuen Biao, Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung focused more on making their fights entertaining to watch by using flashy moves and props. They're just skilled in different ways but they're all awesome.
sHART1780 8 months ago
@sHART1780 true, but donnie yen wined some wushu championshiop, and his mother is one of the most important master of tai chi and wushu, Mark Bow Sim, also he studies taekwondo, kickboxing and boxing, then he studies with Wu Bin, Master of Jet Li...
ludy83 7 months ago
@ludy83 and man you have to see his biceps, incredible, (Drunken Tai Chi or Kill Zone), he has an incredible physical condition, and he is older than bruce lee was, I think Donnie Yen is the most skilled ever. i dont know who will win a fight but martial arts are not allways about fighting with people, and donnie yen is more skilled
ludy83 7 months ago
....in my humble opinion...
ludy83 7 months ago
@ludy83 i agree that people like Donnie Yen are incredibly talented. Wu Shu actually isn't a martial art meant for seriously fighting though. It's actually more of a acrobatic sport meant mostly for show. It's used in movies a lot because of that. Donnie Yen is talented in other martial arts too like wing chun and boxing. he's in great shape especially for his age.
sHART1780 7 months ago
@sHART1780 Wu Shu simply just means Chinese martial arts, which consists of numerous styles.... sooo your statement is basically false. To add to your comment, I believe the only real arts that weren't mean directly for fighting were like Tai Chi but even then it directly helps you with your physical ability to fight. What all martial arts embody are things like being centered and well grounded as well as striving for perfectly balanced movement etc.
Xandralina69 7 months ago
@Xandralina69 regardless of what it means, modern wu shu is more like a competitive sport today than a fighting style.

YOU DONT EVEN SEE IT UNTIL YOU SLOW THE VIDEO DOWN!! watch it
