i don't care if the internet isn't that great. it looks just fine to me. I'm grateful to even get to look at videos on this phone without paying $100 for just a plan to the big wigs. i hate blackberry's, but love env3 type phones and this is the bomb. i'm getting it like today. oh yeah. i'm loving it.

After 6 months The Incognito is a good phone. Not perfect. But for $99 you can not beat the price.

Pro. Youtube mobile. You can download third party apps like the Opera mini and Bolt browsers.

Con Touchscreen is useless. Phone quality sucks without ear piece. The screen should be bigger. Not perfect but you can do alot with this phone.

@credregal Actually, no; I don't know about a way to upload a video straight from your phone BUT I do know a way to get wi-fi on it. You have to download a certain application on getjar.com from your phone to use wi-fi by using bluetooth.

I suggest using a ear piece for phone calls on the incognito. As far as the web goes, download opera mini 4 or 5 and the bolt browsers. The bolt {unsigned} browser will give you a desktop like broswer and it is fast. I rarely use the boost browser.

@daabsolutetruth9999 I'd give the internal earpiece a 7/10 as far as sound goes. I find myself asking "Could you repeat that?" a lot if I'm near the AC or a train goes by. As far as in crowded place goes...it can get very hard to hear. The ringer (and text ding) always seemed to get the job done without the volume being up 100%.

Another reviewer seemed to think that the ringtone/speakerphone volume was too low. I am just concerned with the ability to hear a conversation (after all this is a phone!). I tried facebook on the Bolt and Opera Mini browsers. Since I know nothing about Facebook, I went to my jobs facebook page on the Bolt and Opera mini browser. Bolt downloaded the desktop versions of facebbok. Opera mini 4, and 5 took me to the mobile page.

I am not a big facebook person, but I have use facebook on the incognito. The facebook client that came with the phone sucked to me,. So I use facebook on Opera Mini 4. It is the mobile version.

I use the internet on pay as you go on Boost for 35 cents a day. It has unlimited data. I watch youtube videos, I have downloaded 5 browers to my phone {Bolt, Opera Mini}

The $50 a month unlimited everything plan includes internet. The Incognito does not have the best internet, though. It's pretty much pre-smartphone era technology. Although, using the downloadable Opera Mini browser makes things bearable for some.

@daabsolutetruth9999 The phone is not meant for data. It's no smartphone. Just a phone with the option to use internet. I've never been one to use the internet on a phone (prior to my current BlackBerry, also on Boost), so other than googling this and that for quick reference, I couldn't tell you. It was relatively slow internet from the get-go, at least compared to other devices.

Youtube made some improvements to the mobile youtube, so videos load faster using the boost browser. But for the internet, the best overall browser on the incognito is the bolt lite unsigned. I have 5 browser downloaded {Opera mini 3,4,5 bolt and bolt lite}. Check out vuclips and mippins. You can save videos to your sd card on vuclips

Unless you need the walkie talkie do not buy an Iden phone. The iden phones suck on text messages internet and phone calls. The sanyo incognito and the mirro are the only phones that I would buy on Boost. The blackberry cost too much I have my work email desktop version set up on my incognito using the Bolt and Opera Mini browser. Phone quality is okay.

On the incognito you can send text messages that are longer than 160 letters. The counter will tell you when you exactly how many letters you have typed.

If you are on Boost, this is the only phone I would buy. It is not perfect, but it is better than those Iden phones. Youtube videos download in less than 10 secomds.

I never use the touchscreen. The touchscreen is completely useless. It tells you that you have a text message but you can not read it from the touchscreen. Trying to dial a number is a waste of time. They should have put a 2.0 size screenn with the normal dial pad on the front with ability to use all of the functions without opening the phone.

I just typed in vuclips on the my incognito phone browser and it came up. The filter only comes on when you try to watch adult videos. If it says youtube then it will not have filter. Vuclips has a desktop and mobile site.

This phone is amazing for a prepaid. You can download opera mini or the bolt browser. They give you fast internet speed. You can watch videos fullscreen on bolt. The touchscreen sucks. Phone quality is decent. text show up fast and thredded. I don't use the boost internet, boost facebook app, too slow for me. Tons of features.

Yes to porn. Go to vuclips and type in whatever you like to watch. Cut off filter. Vuclips is like a combo of google and youtube. They get videos from adult sites posted daily. If you use opera mini 4 you can downlod and save videos to your sd memory card from vuclips. Trust me.

@MaTT22296 The keyboard gets the job done. The only problem I have with it is the "[FN]" button. It's the button that alternates the keys. For example: Pressing [FN] before pressing Z turns Z into an ' and sometimes it doesn't want to stick when you press it. I find myself correcting a lot of words like "donzt" and "canzt."

The touch screen is alright. But if you've just finished eating something greasy, you better open the phone and answer via a real button, otherwise all hope is lost.

@MaTT22296 Also about the screen, the slider that locks the touch screen sometimes doesn't want to work. Like...if you slide it and then go to touch the buttons that are now lit up and 'active,' they won't work. That requires you to slide the slider a couple more times to lock and unlock before you can answer an incoming call. it happens about once every 20 times or so. Just a little irritating.
