What Really Goes On In The Circus

I For years thought that because ringling circus was so big and played at Madison square garden and went as a kid that they were well taking care of. About 7 years ago I watched a doc called TOTO and well it changed my entire thought process on that forever. I WILL NEVER EVER SUPPORT ANY KIND OF CIRCUS THAT HAS ANIMAL ACTS. Education is the key here.

It is a natural behavior for stallions to compete with eachother by fighting for a group of mares. They fight by biting, kicking, and standing on their back legs and kicking eachother. Whoever is the strongest wins. Standing on their back legs is a natural part of a healthy equine psychology. Same as the crocodile hunter who allows crocs in captivity to display natural behaviors by defending their territory. This is a form of enrichment.

you can have animals of a classified nature as 'fieras' in scotland e.g. lions, bears, panthers... as if they had banned them, the local councils could have been taken to court as their banning something that has been proven to be suitable and perfectly legal.

in scotland the circus are not aloud animales like lions but they are aloud horses but they have to be looked after well and it gets checked as well so they do

I don't want to insult you but are you really that naïve that you think that cirusanimals preform out of free will? the people who work in a circus see those animals as money, they don't care about the animals well-being. If you search the web, you will find plenty of proof about how circus animals are abused.
