Craig Chandler is speaking the truth, and utilizing freedom of speech you don't have to like what he say, nor does he have to like what you say but he as everyone in Canada have the right to state their opinion and that must be respected regardless and if people can't respect the right to free speech they could go fuck themselves
I was born in Edmonton (the Capital of Alberta) and am Liberal, I AM from here, I AM smart enough to vote my conscience and not out of some rediculous tradition. Albertans has made a mochary (and somewhat of a monarchy) of the elections system and I look forward to a change. If it were anybody else but conservatives running the show for the last 40 years, Albertans and indeed alberta would be far better off than they are now.
Typical neo-conservative douchebag. As if the "Conservatives" put the oil in the ground. He's NOT a Conservative - there aren't any of those left. He's a NEO-conservative. There's a big difference. Neos don't care about deficits and debt or the long run. They care about enriching themselves and their friends and leaving debt and taxes to be dealt with by, as Leona Helmsley (a neoconservative sociopath if there ever was one) "the little people." We have one running B.C. now.
"Don't rack up your credit cards" was the high point of absurdity in this clip. I'm pretty positive we have the highest rates of credit card debt in the country, partially as a result of all the public belt-tightening and "debt-slaying."
The man can't stand to have others around him who might not think exactly as he thinks. He's coming across as some kind of fascist. Fortunately, the vast majority of Canada's conservatives will consider him to be the nitwit he is.
The PC party is based upon accountability of government, business and citizens, which isn't a philosophy espoused by any other party. That being said, we need more broad-minded PC's, and Craig isn't one of them. Long term economic success requires a healthy environment, strong health care, vibrant education, and a welcoming of hard-working people from outside of Alberta and Canada. Contact your local PC party, and get involved to help form a strong thinking PC Party!
Chandler comes across as extremely ignorant and blinded by ideology. I sincerely hope that Albertans will reject his message of exclusion and narrow-mindedness.
Was it conservative culture that created the boom, or that Alberta's oil reserves were adjusted from 5 billion to 180 billion by inclusion of the Athabasca Oil Sands deposits? We need strong leaders to deal with issues of labour shortages, high housing costs, and high inflation. These issues are fundamentally important to the health of our economy' businessowners and working class alike.
