Protein is not an energy source, when it is used as such, a person is into starvation. The added calories, anti catabolic effects of protein can allow more carbohydrate to be used as fuel, and this is what happens on single day fasts, the stored fuel from the previous day is used as fuel. You said you want to get lean, this is how you do it. Fitness models, Bodybuilders and even athletes use this type of method. You friend is recommending more for building, and the added protein aids metabolism
@barrymasteller ohh sorry that i didn't say the product name . I bought super advanced whey protein. can u exactly tell me how to use it and when to use cuz my once my friend told me that use it whenever u go to gym then when u come back take it again and I'm confused and I don't wanna have any problem in my body lol. I'll really appreciate if u tell me . THX ;)
@alicronaldohitman A really simple way to start to play with carbohydrate cycling (depletion) is to stay with just protein and water until 3pm, then the next day eat as you normally would. The water intake should be around 1 gallon, assumeing you wake up early (7am or earlier). You dont want to starve yourself, take 1/2 scoop every hour (if under 150lbs bw), take 1 full scoop (if over 150lbs). So try to get in between 5-8 scoops total, do not cut back. 1 meal only on this day.
@barrymasteller thx alot for the help but my friend said take whenever u go to gym, that way i can have energy and he said don't take it without workin out but now u r saying take 1/2 scoop every hour lol now I'm really confuse hehehe ;P
The keto diet creates a fuller thicker look
The ornish diet creates a healthy lean look
The high protein low fat low carb diet creates a lean tight smaller look
Trust ketosis, gluconeogenisis or fasting and it's about achieving a certain look.... Watch all my vids before making comments please
