@MarcoMartini81 Well I can barely speak contemporary High German but I'll give it a go with the Middle High :P The word "Chint" is similar to the word "Kind" used today, and Wolgetan means something pretty or fair to look at I believe. "I was a child so fair" is the translation that seems most plausible to me

ok, i did a little research on behalf of this song and it is not absolutely clear, wether it is about rape or the girl in the song just gives in to the male sexual craving.. but this male sex appetite is cleary critisised by the lyrics.

I'm from Germany and the song is in parts written in medieval German and actually it is about rape but the parts that make it clear are not sung in this version. The whole song has three verses more. So aranzoltan is right as well as the ones who say it is about rape (but in this version only the things taking place before the real rape).
