The Compact Flash is the best, fastest and most expensive of all the flash media. Currently I have a 64Gb CF loaded with Windows_XP, and is using it as a primary HDD in my desktop thanks to a CF to IDE adapter.
This card is actually faster with the 5D Mark II after the update to firmware 2.09. The camera says 5 continues shots, but it actually takes 13. When I test it with an older card, it takes 9 continuous shots.
I must say that is is worth the price. I shot over 4500 photos with it recently on a trip to Paris. Fortunately, I also have a backup hard drive so I can empty it and fill it again.
Wtf!? 128MB!? What did that cost you like $1100!?!!
