Yay it worked! I already had the 9.0 iTunes so I updated without uninstalling/re-installing iTunes and it worked fine! Thanks for posting an easy to follow video and saving me the cost too! =)

Hey, i tried to jailbreak my ipod touch 2g with redsn0w 8.0. i tried to restore my ipod with the downloaded 8.0 firmware but.. it has a message that comes up saying ipod could not be restored error (20) it extracts the firware then says installing but then the error comes up.. any ideas of why it does this and help on how to fix it? thanks in advance

ok if u delete the old itunes all the playlists too right

and wen ur iphone reboots everything on it goes away =(

if u delete the old itunes and then install a new one, it should automatically find where your old songs where... and if it doesnt u just give it the folder and it will import all your songs. and if u reboot ur ipod yea everything goes away :( but u get 3.0 for free :))))
