@MultiIPwnage They are not the oldest person on record, they may have been 146 but they are not confirmed to be that old, and I doubt they were really that old either. Jeanne Calment is said to be the oldest person ever at 122.

I am saddened to report that my grandmother passed away on January 29, 2008 at 107 plus. She was born in the 19th century, lived through the entire 20th and into the 21st. We will miss her but she left an amazing legacy of how to live a good life.
Evelyn (my grandmother) is doing ok. She has very limited mobility and she has trouble hearing us on the phone now but will be 107 this month and is looking forward to her birthday.
I just watched all of Evelyn`s videos...what a sweet, strong wonderful lady she is....Just sitting here thinking of all the things she has seen and done in her life and all the changes that the world has done in her life time....
I would just love to give you a big hug Evelynn! I found this video by accident and I'm impressed with you. Your a special person and God gave you to use to learn by. We love you :)
Evelyn is a wonderful... bright and what we all wish we could be...and wish our parents could have been...I want to thank her for her story...and thank the interviewer for his humor....he really holds her in high regard and it shows and she deserves every bit of it even if she thinks it is vanity...thank you for introducing her to us...
You are NOT a freak Evelyn. Everyone living on the face of God's beautiful earth should be FORTUNATELY BLESSED for God to allow THEM the blessing of living to your age.

Beautiful video and beautiful lady. I love our elders. Regardless of intelligence levels...every person who has lived into their 80's and above is full of wisdom and if we would only treat them as humans and listen to them more often,we could learn quite a bit. Wish you nothing but the best Evelyn.

Hi Evelyn. That's a pretty name, i like it. I enjoyed watching the video. You also remind me alot of my grandmother who lived to be 90. She did alot of hard work in her life and it's good to have goals, but were supoose to enjoy life, but that's not always the case. You also remind me of my aunt who i love dearly and she's going to be 80. Life, how to put it, it's wonderful and our family and friends are what makes it the fullest. :)

I wish I could hear the rest of the interview! Evelyn seems like a real sweetheart. For being 106, she's pretty sharp, as well. I'd probably just lie there and drool if I was as old as that (but I doubt I'll make it that far).
I would have rather heard her take on historical events. When you're that age there is nothing to look forward to but a permanent vacation.

She may not have a goal, because she's reached a goal. She's
shared her wonderful story with us and is an inspiration. A great
lady...and besides that....her birthday 9/29 and mine is 9/30!
