what is the reasoning behind using pits upB in this video? does it neutralize attacks or something?

It neutralizes some projectiles like Mario's fireballs, and it creates distance by pushing your opponent away, if your opponent attacks, you can push them away, and while the animation of the attack finishes you can go in and attack yourself

jump+UpB+Down on the C-stick, use the joystick to do a half a circle to move backwards or forward, theres a certain timing, I recomend training mode to try it out

This was great!

To be honest though, like most pit combo vids, it was a little too AT focused. Some clips were nothing more than a Arrow-Loop to hit or Wing-dash to hit or something. Don't get me wrong. 5 star and faved, but I personally thought ATs played a little too much into it.

That's the way to Loop arrows and Mirror Shield your opponents, and them footstools.
