heh because of the femenist laws that were passed to protect women my sister in law had to suffer. her mother was a dead beat and she would always gamble away her husbands money and take the money they needed for bills, so he kicked her out. the courts only made her pay 5 dollars for each child a month in child support because she is a women. because of this my sister in laws dad had to raise 5 kids on his own and his wife never actually paid the child support and got away with it.

Feminism doesn't equate to egalitarianism, no matter how much you try to spin your rhetoric. If feminists really cared about justice despite gender, they'd be pushing for men's rights in the court system, and they'd be advocating signing up with the Selective Service (in the US) to fight alongside men in combat -- equally. I think most people are treated with respect and dignity. Of course there are exceptions but there have always been exceptions. It's a big world, you can always find a scandal if you look hard enough.

Imo, the greatest cause of disrespect and indignity is economic class not gender.

Though it would've been better if the black entreprenuers had been given the bank loans they needed to compete, instead of driven out of business by the mostly white owned corporations who took their business and left the black business owners with nothing.

People look at history through rose colored glasses rather than trying to make the current better they long for the past.
