I was unlucky enough to have a Jones fracture over a year ago but lucky enough to land in Dr. Ebraheim's care and eventual surgery with a screw put in 3 mos. after the fracture. Now it is healed! Needless to say I am thrilled with his care and expertise as well as this video which did a great job explaining the reason for the lengthy healing process. Fascinating!

Good video. Death of the bone - Does 'death' imply that the bone will never heal? I've recently broken my fibila and dislocated the talus.

@adaml99a death of the bone does not prevent healing of the fracture
it could make it harder to heal
good luck with the healing of your fractures
