Hey, I'm hugely into homemade instruments, and I like the ones you created, but there's no way you're hitting all those notes with the one stringed instrument, especially when you're not fretting them (or using the slide to act as a fretter). Do you have a track playing in the background?

Look at the video closely you'll see the slide on Yusef's little finger. Yusef also uses his fingers to dampen the strings. There are two strings on the Cigar Box Guitar.

For the Bass Can I bend the split bamboo to tighten and loosen the string and change the pitch. There is no track playing. This was just one take, and just the two of us. We are both playing instruments that I made.
