Finally! I had my ring apart for over 5 years, unable to find the solution to restore it. I now have it on my finger, solved! Thanks so much for this version. The other one's available just don't explain how to get them joined other than 'turning counter-clockwise'. That never worked for mine.

@gaylemae Hey, you had yours for 5 years? where did you get it at? ive been lookin for a 8 to a 6 band one, and the websites on youtube that i went to is FREAKIN EXPENSIVE. i was wonderin if you could tell me where you got yours at, and maybe tell me how much it was. Thanks. :D

Thanks for this great solution! I just put my best friend's ring back together. She and I both have 4 band rings that are slightly different, but mine is a bit easier to solve than hers so she needed my help. Thanks again! She'll be so please when she sees it back together now. :)
