@beatsbykreature No, not mistaken, i understand the limiter controls the peak, words i should of used is reducing dynamic range not loudness, but i was thinking about how a compressor cuts peak levels in recordings and also keeps the signal around the same level. But come to think of it, it is like a compressor

@Smafdy lmfao nah this isn't a compressor, a compressor controls the peak levels of an instrument/vocal to reduce distortion and loudness, this works better than a compressor, it automatically changes the levels of the vocal when needed so it dosen't sound too quiet or too loud when in mix with the track
