  • u know i'm getting a strong feeling that all the comments that support smoke bans are actually the anti smoke campaign people themselves. it's obvious that they are scared of having the same fate as hitler and his anti smoking puppet friends, so they desperately stoop as low as they possibly can to brainwash others. perhaps they forgot about skeptics who see through their plastic exterior. it's time their true colors start to come out for all to see.

  • Germany's first smoking ban was introduced by The Führer himself in 1941.He planned a total ban in Europe...but shot himself.

Luckily we have ( still ) a constitutional court here in Germany who have ruled against a total ban in pubs.

Did you know that the EU's Europe-wide smoking ban does NOT apply to the EU buildings in Brussels and Strasbourg ?

No standing outside in the rain and snow for the authors of this legislation.

Vote EU sceptical in June's European elections.

  • I think you just like wearing a Nazi uniform. Seriously.

  • I hate wearing it Jean, and decided to give up on the minister act, but when the anti smoking idiot Stanton Glantz wrote his ludicrous article about me in the BMJ journal of tobacco control he revealed his (and the anti smoking movements) weakness to the nazi link. If you hate my videos, blame Stanton Glantz for inspiring me to keep making them.

  • There's nothing liberal about a gouverment telling pubowners what they should or shouldn't do in their own place. Nobody forced you to go in there, and nobody stopped you from starting a bar or restaurant for non-smokers.

  • Quite right Polderkak, The anti smokers live under the selfish delusion that they have the right to enter any property and demand it to be smoke free. They simply cannot grasp the simple fact that the only person entitled to make such a demand is the owner of each individual property.

  • The classical liberal restriction on freedom was to limit it to those freedoms that do not infringe the freedom of others by harming them.

It's quite a liberating experience for a non-smoker to go into a bar or restaurant and not have to suffer smoking.

Smokers can still frequent non-smoking bars, they just can't smoke in them. Non-smokers couldn't frequent them, without being harmed, prior to the ban. Now everyone is free to frequent them.

The ban has created more freedom, not less!

  • You have always been free to CHOOSE to visit smoking or non smoking bars. Now that choice has been removed from you. You have lost your freedom of choice and you are too stupid to realise.

  • As a non-smoker I had a choice between entering a bar and being harmed by smokers or not entering a bar. Smokers did not have that choice because they were the perpetrators of the harm. They could simply enter any bar. To the extent that smokers cannot harm non-smokers with their addiction anymore, smokers are less free than they used to be. Indeed, the only freedom lost was to smokers who cared only for their own freedom at the expense of others. Thankfully the gain vastly outweighs this loss.

  • Spot on. Well said.

  • Year on year 2% above inflation tax on beer, the alcohol, (in public), ban is already under way.

Thanks Phil for pointing us to the ban to follow.

    Dave.

  • that was a great video Phil. it like that old german poam. i hope they don't do a aclohol ban that would just be fooled. here in the us we had to learn the hard way! God bless from

    Ivanova

  • Good video, thanks for making it. This reminds me of that German priest's quote after the Nazis took over.

  • What German Priest's quote?

  • But then thinking about it why would they be celebrating when in Geneva they had their ban overturned and in Bavaria their party lost in the elections.

  • Great vid, oh poor antismoking League seems they cant celebrate with their favourite music and theyve been accused of being tools of the music industry!!

  • Music - the "Gateway Drug"!

No wonder I love to smoke!

    Well done, mein Herr!

  • Brilliant as always Phil, Glanz/Stanz or whoever. Is he in engineering or social engineering? funny I think the 80% ban it lot seem to have nearly the same figure in most of the Countries. Geneva have just done a u-turn on the ban, lets hope the other 40,000/400,000 Coutries turn it around too!

freedom2choose info for tolerant non-smokers and smokers alike, please join us and make a stand - forces org and many others are making a stand too

  • I like it!

  • After fags comes beer, then noise. Good Vid [fav'd]

  • So very, very true! And one in the eye for Stanton Glans, or Glantz or whatever his name is.

    "He made that up!"

  • Well, now that we know Glantz is watching...don't you think we should at least wave, "Hi"? It'd be the sociable thing to do.

    LOL...made that up....LOL!!

  • It's true! Noise pollution is a menace. It causes disruption of the ears--and that's where our balance mechanisms are located! It's common sense! Loud music causes disease and physical infirmities! Melodic menaces promote promiscuous behaviour! Music must be banned! I have a right to music-free air! Studies show that 80% of the population support a comprhesive ban on music in all public places! It's only to help musicians break their addiction to melodies!

  • PS It could lead to dancing! Horrors! Lock up your daughters!
