Normal manual fold mirrors have 5 wires. These have 7 wires and a control box as well as a different switch with a "retract" button. More info can be found on Stig's car thread at ST162.net which is the home of all things gen4 related
It was an option sofar only found on some selected JDM models. It later became stock on the ST18x and ST20x models. Looks like TEMS was an option on some ST162 (also JDM only?) but later was common on the ST18x. To really confuse things I found a ST183 fitted with hydralic "Active Sports" suspension - not too many of those around!

Hey Stig, how do you get the mirrors to retract?
I have 2 sets of mirrors with the rounded joints that look like they should retract but I have no idea how to make it happen?
I've accidentally walked into them a few times in my tiny garage and they make a clicking noise when they move.
