when they diagnosed her with turner syndrome. could they tell that it was there by an ultrasound?

Her name is Alyssa. She is doing well, but we see a lot of specialists. By the time she is one year old (Sept) she will have had 42 doctor's appts, 3 surgeries, 2 MRI's and 2 ER visits. But she is precious and was worth everything we've been through.

Love your video! My daughter was born on 9.8.09 and diagnosed with it at birth. She had heart surgery on 9.18.09. She is doing pretty well now. Your video echos my thoughts that she is "fearfully and wonderfully made"!

Your video is very touching. Brought me to a tear. [a few] I was pregnant with a bby girl with turner sydrome. She passed away at 6 months. Although it hurt me & broke me down 5yrs ago the pain still remains. But your video gave me more insight about turner syndrome and the effects that could have been if she were born. Beautiful video. We have a 19 month old daughter with Turner Syndrome, she is a miracle, too! Loved your choice of verses--I have often thought of those verses in connection with our dau., because we used them when we announced to our families that we were having a baby, never knowing the tears & heartache we'd soon go through...(thought we'd loose her before birth)

i'm 24 years old and she is my first child there was fluid behind her neck on the ultrasound so they did amio said it was turners next visit the fluid was so bad that they told me she was going to go into heart failure and i was gonna miscarry aT HOME I was three moths i went back a month later the fluid was completely gone doctors were amazed they looked at her heart so nothing at first then they saw a littlenarrowing on the aorta valve that needs to be fix its 7.25 inches and should be 9

How scary! They found swelling with Audrey as well. It tooo went down! The heart looked as if it corrected itself but after birth only a few days ago we found out she is going to need surgery. You truly are in my prayers. I hold onto the scripture that says God etched her into her mothers womb. I believing for His will and will love Him through the good and the bad! Hang in there!

My daughter too had neck swelling at the 20 weeks scan. a specialist said it was nothing major and would be gone before birth, and it was. TS was never mentioned it was assumed my baby was fine. Then when born TS was diagnosed because of her swollen feet and hands, and her high arched pallet. I still remember being told she had this condition i'd never heard of and I was terrified for her. It was not easy as she had feeding problems from the start but 12 years on and she's doing really well.

She has not had any problems feeding as of yet. She has been eating well.

i do know of others who've had the surgery on the narrow aorta, not always babies when they've had it and they come through surgery well. One thing you will learn is girls/ladies with TS are so brave and strong and they have amazing determination. something i found that helped the most was a TS support group. No matter what your daghter/grand daughter goes through someone in the support group has been through it and can offer advice. i have my fingers crossed for both these little girls xxx

Hi my daughter was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome at birth. She does not have a heart problem and in the main in very healthy. She is 12yr old now and doing really well.

One thing you get with a TS girl is a beautiful child who will give you loads of love and make you so proud.

hi i'm about to give birth to my daughter on the 1 st of june who has turners syndrome another miracle baby i was wondering if your grandbaby had any of the heart problems cus my daughter has a minor one one of the artieries is narrow and requires surgery please respond i'm naming her nevaeh angel heaven backwards please respond

Just yesterday we found out that her heart is effected and that she has a 60-80% chance of surgery. What a beautiful name Sarah! I will consider you both in my prayers.
