@Iceman917K not one of the best...it WAS the best but the rest of the car was unfortunately not...like with Williams-BMW where the engine was powerful but the chassis awful
BMW has produced the most powerfullst engine in F1 ever with the Brabham BT52. The car was powered by the massively powerful BMW M12/13 turbocharged engine which produced about 1,300 bhp
Not only, you don't get slipstream from so far away; at the beginning, when Heidfeld approaches by accelerating and exiting from the curve, he gets closer to his opponent because of the power of the engine, then, as he approaches to the slipstream zone he gets even more quicker comparing to Trulli.
oh sorry. i thought if your watchin f1 u no about the basics...basically low wing means tht the front and rear wing
are at a lower angle because at a higher angle they create more downforce(which pushes the cars front and rear tyres into the ground and so you get better traction and cornering ability) but also more drag(which basically slows the cars down because the car is no longer stream lined. so if the toyota had more "wing" on it, would corner faster but have a lower top speed
Yeah that's what i thought (and wrote)... I watch f1 but since english isn't my mother language i don't understand all the technical expressions in this language.
No, he was close enough for the slip stream. Why? Because he was quicker through the corner than the car infront so he's exit speed was more which allowed him to close the gap!
I was in the stands at turn 1 that day and i remember seeing this. You get no impression from videos like this how quickly heidfeld jinked to the left. It happened so fast i wasn't even sure which cars were involved. Great stuff!!
con el rebufo que cojio durante practicamente toda la recta seguramente alcanzo los 350 km/h o mas, pero como freno un poco porque el toyota se puso delante, en el sensor de velocidad no lo puso...
vettel done 327 at the speed trap this years monza and still got the pole. that shows monza is not as fast as those old years anymore

Slipstream. I cry foul. Show us a side by side race down the straight and I'd be impressed.

that wasnt the bmw's power, that was because he got a slipstream off of trulli's car.

its more likely hes running low wing. 2006 the cars had roughly the same engine output
martynhenrystyles 2 years ago
what does low wing means? that he has less friction with air?
