I met my second husband at 40. Never planned on ever falling in love or marrying again, but I did. He is the most wonderful, kind, considerate and loving man I have ever known. He loves me absolutely unconditionally. But because of circumstances which included a reaction to some medicine, which lead to violence, I filed for divorce on December 1, 2011. I miss him every day and will always love him, even if it is from a distance. It sucks though.

there is this guy I met about 4 years ago, i toke me just those 4 years to fall in love with him, we recently got into a huge, fight . Then he told me he was moving to Alaska . Ugh! This song is just so bitter sweet.....a relationship that just ended which I thought was "the one" that would last forever haunts me every moment of everyday. We were best friends and partners and I took so much away fromt he realtionship in terms of being a better person and knowing how good it felt to love loving someone so much. I am in love with my ex. I broke up with him to take a break because i had a lot going on in my life as my sister was just diagnosed with cancer. I lost my husband to cancer in 2009 and was with him for 11years. I still think about him to this day. However, even though she told me she loved me, during the first four months. She began to drift away from me during the last two months of our relationship, I told her I loved her. And since I still do, I think it's proof enough to say I meant it. However, she no longer loves me, she didn't mean it.
@BiebersSh4wty i wish i could say that you're wrong. When i was in school, i saw that happen constantly. It's like guys (in general) think that the words "I love you" are some sort of secret key. something that will open all the right doors. I've only ever said "I love you" to one person. I meant it, and still do. everyday that i wake up, she's the first thing on my mind. I get to see her once a year, at Christmas time.

There was this one girl in my homeroom this year, and she came in every Monday talking about how she had just had the most wonderful date with this new guy and how they kissed. Most people don't understand the word love. Agápe (Greek) means love, but unconditional love whereas Éros means passionate love in the sense of desire or longing. Philia means a strong friendship or brotherly love whereas Storge means the loving affection that a parent may feel towards a child. In English, we only use love for all sorts of love. It's a dangerous and powerful and beautiful word that needs to be cherished and minded more closely as to not mislead someone.

i use to date someone who told me they loved me but after a few days he didnt act the same and broke up with me and now he goes to a different school. what still gets me is that after what he done and said to me he still has the nerve to come up to me and say that he truly does love me. You guys out there just listen....never tell a girl you love them not uness you mean it...you can really damage a girls heart buy saying those three words and not truly meaning it

@wesley746 did the same also I'm 17 right now. The same time I said I Love You I woundered if I meant it. I myself was having a conflict in my own head. This is what happens everywhere but we all must stay strong a get though it no matter what life throws at us. I was at a place here when I first listened to this song I relized that not only she was taken away from me but a piece of my heart was taken as well. I can't believe it took me this long to figure it out. You have alot of good points.

I lost my husband to cancer in 2009 and was with him for 11years. I still think about him to this day. I want to thank Rascal Flatts for their songs. they are able to express my thoughts and words to a T that I have been feeling, both the positive and the negative. it's comforting to have words to put to the aching in my soul of love and loss.

Okay so i have my ex ex boyfriend, i still love him but since i don't want our friendship to be ruined i just see him as my brother, we dated once but we spent no time together and thats what upset me, he was busy with many things so i let him have his space but he dumped me, he didn't talk again then i checked my schoo email and he said he was sorry for not talking to me, then i smiled happily and almost cried of happiness <3

My boyfriend told me he loved me and always would. Then our relationship turned into a long distance one and everything we have is fading away. It's like his love is fading away, but mine is still strong as ever. I wish I could let him know that love is stronger than distance. But, we're growing apart now and I have no idea how to bring it up anymore...

A boy said "I Love You" to me for the FIRST time, I was SOO happy, I thought he ment it but...than the next day I thought he was gonna say it and later on till that next day he never said it again. Guys think I Love You is just words to us girls, it means everything to us. :/ When I guy says I love you to a girl he has to mean it!! :(

However, even though she told me she loved me, during the first four months. She began to drift away from me during the last two months of our relationship, I told her I loved her. And since I still do, I think it's proof enough to say I meant it. However, she no longer loves me, she didn't mean it.

@BiebersSh4wty i wish i could say that you're wrong. When i was in school, i saw that happen constantly. It's like guys (in general) think that the words "I love you" are some sort of secret key. something that will open all the right doors. I've only ever said "I love you" to one person. I meant it, and still do. everyday that i wake up, she's the first thing on my mind. I get to see her once a year, at Christmas time.

@BiebersSh4wty Absolutely, I'm a 14 year old boy, and I have never really had a good love experience. I had one girlfriend, but that's just one of those middle school things. I hear people toss around the word "love" all the time in school, but even when I'm not involved, I can feel how fake it all is. Love is the most delicate thing in the world. It's funny how three simple words, are so hard to say if you really mean them.

There was this one girl in my homeroom this year, and she came in every Monday talking about how she had just had the most wonderful date with this new guy and how they kissed. But almost every time she was talking about a different guy. I have never kissed a girl. I guess you could say I'm gonna make sure love is there first. I just wonder if she will regret not having a special first kiss.

Most people don't understand the word love. Agápe (Greek) means love, but unconditional love whereas Éros means passionate love in the sense of desire or longing. Philia means a strong friendship or brotherly love whereas Storge means the loving affection that a parent may feel towards a child. In English, we only use love for all sorts of love. It's a dangerous and powerful and beautiful word that needs to be cherished and minded more closely as to not mislead someone.
