I just came home from seeing this group perform here in Seattle, at Meany Hall on the UW campus. Fantastic concert! Just wish the auditorium had a space to dance in; we could throw the group offerings, but we couldn't dance in the aisles, alas. They closed the concert with this song, btw...

This is a good Qawwali group.I am surprised though at the drummer in his 'naubat baaje' kept the same simple beat for so long. If you want to see how it should be done copy and paste in, Ik Mard-e-Qalandar - Aziz Mian Qawwal, on this site.

IF you watch the whole cd,I have it, they told him to keep that beat thats why he kept it. At the end of the cd he did similar taals the guy was doing on the youtube link you posted.
