@Broshmosh I disagree on that. For me that's exactly why the original japanese voices are way better than the dubs. Much better opening songs (even though I am a metal fan) much better voices. Better screams! Nothing compares with Goku saying (in japanese) kamehamehaaa! And also when he is screaming. When I hear the dubbed voice in english i always roll on the floor laughing or have a huge /facepalm on my face.

@neo001010100 Both the Japanese dub and non-Japanese dubs are great, though Funimation's post season1's preforms far outclassed Ocean in my opinion.I don't know what happened.. My own grievance with the English version is the tendency to mistranslates, and deliberately change things to attracted a younger audience. For example, the worst worst said in English is "Damn" so the first time Chi chi aid "Fuck off old man" I laughed myself to death at the drastic change. xD

@Broshmosh Also the voice is really not the same. When Goku is older his voice deepens. That proves why the japanese seiyuu are much better than the dubbed voice actors. When Goku is a kid his voice sounds so pure and innocent. when he becomes older his voice is more serious and deep. The fact that it's done by the same person just proves how skilled that person is in my opinion

@neo001010100 In general, I'll agree that the Japanese voices are far superior to the dubs. On a personal level, this is pretty much the only one I'll watch dubbed, even though everyone else's voices are much better in Japanese.

That said, have you seen Baccano? If not, watch it in dubbed. Its quite possibly the *best* dubbing ever, and the Japanese cast completely don't play it up enough for the eccentricities of the characters.

@neo001010100 I agree that Japanese voice actors are much better than English speaking ones when it comes to anime and I usually watch all my anime subbed but with Dragonball I just can't get used to the Japanese version now because I started watching it when it was on Cartoon Network as a kid =(
