Just like when the New Comiskey Park was renamed US Cellular Field, many Chicagoans (Sox fans atleast) still to this day call it Comiskey. This is the same thing. I'm still going to call it Sears Tower just like probably all Chicagoans will.

Yes, I think it will always still be referred to as the Sears Tower! In my home town, Macy's now occupies one of our landmark buildings, the former John Wanamaker's department store, when tourists seek out the huge bronze Eagle and pipe organ in the grand court, they still ask.. which way to the Wanamaker's store. historically, it was America's first department store. Many things in America have changed, and not for the best. Sears Tower forever! And I am a Philadelphian!
