STAIND IS THE ONLY BAND,AND I SWEAR TO GOD ON THIS!! THE ONLY BAND I CAN EVER LISTEN TO OVER AND OVER AND NEVER GET TIRED OF IT!!!!! EVERY TIME I JAM TO STAIND ITS LIKE THE FIRST TIME HEARING HIS AWESOME VOICE,LYRICS,DRUMS,AND I MEAN EVERYTHING!!!
THATS HOW AWESOME AARON IS! i THANK GOD YOU WERE BORN! LOL
my third favorite band, right behind Deftones and Muse, i love their old stuff and their new stuff, there are two absolutes in life, Death and Change, get over it people
Whereas I think they've evolved. No group should stay the same throughout their career. U2 Proved that with "Achtung Baby".
I'm not a HUGE STAIND fan, but if you like music and have an open mind, it's easy to spot an album where a band still retains its identity (i.e. Aaron Lewis singing about all these issues he (constantly) has in his life) but is older and wiser. Just my 2 cents worth...
at first i was guna say no... but the 2nd verse he rly does... lol.
have u seen the video where aaron plays epiphany with Shaun Morgan?! it's pretty good. Shaun didn't rly do much tho...lol but its still pretty good to watch!!! :)
yes i have lost a girlfriend of 5 yrs..and when it happend i didnt want to listen to anyone sing/whine about theirs..all of these songs sound exactly the same ecxecpt rainy day parade..which i like..but other than that this record is terrible..they are formula writing now...and look what its done to their music...IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME
This song and "tangled up in you" are the 2 weakest on the album. Staind is such a great band that I feel disapointed when they have even one song I gotta skip past, but I do usually skip past these 2.
However, overall its a pretty stellar album. No complaints with the other 10 trax

yes rabbi2442...you are RIGHT...staind was awsome..but just like all bands they think that they need to start making this kind of shit. I hate it. No you are not relating to a broader audience...you are just relating to lame white girls who like this bullshit...and their whipped boyfriends who take them to these kinds of concerts
Who are the songs supposed to be for then? Asshole users on youtube who sit at home and bitch about how a band can't be good just because they have changed their style based on their experiences?
Bands change, stop bitching about it if you don't like them now since "they conformed to the masses". Staind takes the music where they feel it needs to go, not to sell out.
I have been hooked on this album since it came out. I get sick of hearing people talk about its not heavy like tormented and blah blah blah. If you could open your minds just a little bit you might realize how amazing this album really is. Lewis' talents far exceed just screaming and growling. Tormented and Dysfunction were classic but I would be in pretty bad shape if I still felt that way today. Rolling Stone gave this album only 2 and 1/2 stars. W.T.F. Give it an honest chance.
Ok so I didn check out that Animal Collective stuff, and it blew. And I dont know what that has to do with my comment.
To everyone else bashing my comment: I dont not like Staind's slow songs, but this new stuff is just so vanilla. The intensity just doesnt seem to be there.
I'm not knocking Aaron's lyrics, I understand that he is a totally different point than 12 years ago during Tormented, which awesome. I guess I kinda blame Mike cause Aaron writes lyrics around what he comes up with.
Screaming has got to take a toll on the vocal chords. Love anything Staind and would rather Aaron preserve his magnificent voice so we can hear and enjoy it for years to come.
I love this song, and few of the others so far. I too believe this albumn will grow on me over time. While I do miss the heavier sound they are known for, I can't say they have sold out. Just because Aaron isn't screaming on this albumn does not suggest the vocals aren't intense or weak by any means. If anything it's an improvement over the last albumn.
lol that's my point and i got a thumbs down:) anyway yeah i like his sinsing better than his screaming it's more mature and it gives me shivers when i hear his voice
They played this song on my local rock station the other day and I liked it at first, but after having heard the rest of the album though on here, it is the exact same as all the otehr songs. This will most definately be a CD I'm not buying. All the songs sound very similar, and after they said the new album would be heavier like the old stuff, this is an utter failure to me. They sound like all the other mid-tempo Hinder-esqu type bands out there.
i still stick with them and will still buy this cd but......it's so slow lol but it's good still not one of those cds that gets me right off the bat but it takes some time to get used to. i think ill come to love it after a few listens
this would prolly be the most heavy singing, if u can even call it that. the albums good, but i want the hardcore screams from Aaron Lewis that are on all the other albums
A melhor voz..A melhor Banda..Perfect!!

Listened to the whole album, and i have to say it didnt really catch me as much as the other albums
There are a couple (3 or 4) songs that i liked, not loved, but the other i didnt really get into as much
Yea, i might get a bunch of people bashing on me cuz i didnt love this album, who cares, your entitled to your own opinion as am i
Overall STAIND is a kickass band, and will be around for awhile HANDS DOWN!
Now i will just have to wait forever until their next cd... Lame!
