Whatever.

There were two way more amazing plays in this game, both made by Charles Rogers. One, a catch against a ND player's helmet, two, a touchdown catch where he grabs the ball falling out of the endzone and sticks one foot down just inbounds. It was disgusting. Is it on youtube? Of course not. Because MSU blew the game on pop warner-level tackling on this stupid play.

You could make the same argument that Weis took Willingham's recruits to a few bowl games too. Weis didn't recruit Quinn, McKnight, or Samardzija (sp?). He improved the team a little, rolled through a few soft schedules (Who is the best team they have beaten since he got there? Penn State in 2006?), and got blown out in the big games he coached in.

Willingham got 3 years buddy...not 2. His last one being 6-5; and let me let you in on something - according the Notre Dame standards that's not "so-so" it's pretty damn shitty.

Also Willingham's recruiting classes barely made the Top 25 every year he was there. Weis has had everyone in the Top 10 so far...and they're 1st in 2008 so far.

They clearly made the right choice in firing him...don't make posts "CDean" when you have no idea what your talking about.
