Multihull Geant

For those of you wondering what ever happened to Geant, she is now dominating the racing scene here in New Zealand and has been re-named Team Vodafone Sailing. I had the priviledge of doing a harbour race on her this week and it was absolutely incredible! We did 33 knots in only 18 knots of wind! This has to be the most spectacular boat ever built.

Noooooo ;=@ We did take a 55 cat from Fiji-NZ-Rapa-Tahiti but it was not like this....LOL. I think our max speed was 18knts and that was only for a few hours. BTW its a tri...LOL

You're right. In this film it was a crew of two but in most of transatlantic race these 60 footers are run by a single man.

Even though sailing such a beast in rough sea with a 5 men crew would be scary...
