@questtonova It can't be Sheena because they explicitly say that it was a man. This is also just one scene of a series you get by sleeping numerous times at different inns. It's later revealed in the game that the assassin is Yuan whether or not you saw those scenes, which makes Kratos' comment about it confusing if you didn't see them beforehand.

I know it is inexplicable, but I summarize that it is Yuan for a number of reasons.

1st, they describe the intruder as a 'he'.

2nd, a scene similar to this happens with Lloyd in Triet, and this can happen while Sheena is in your party during world regeneration. (yes they are different so it could have been Sheena in this one.)

3rd, We know Yuan to be an "assassin" due to the scene in Hima just before going to the TowerOfSalvation. (TOS :O)

4th, I think they mention it in the game vaguely...

I'm playing this game again and I saw this scene but at the Asgard Inn (the one wich you pay 300 gald per night). I'm playing the game through the "hard path", that is the reason that I slept in Asgard before to go to Palmacosta. Also, I saw the Kratos's scene at Luin Inn before this.

@101Swiftflick Those were the costumes you get after you heard the elf storyteller's story. After all that go to Zelos's house and talk to the butler. He tells you that the princess got kidnapped. You find the princess and all and then after you've seen the Flanior doctor (for Altessa) go to the butler again and he tells you that there's a party. You got lloyd's costume and the lady tells that there is one person waiting for you. choose someone and talk to three others to retreive there costume.

Yuan shows up in Hima and tries to kill Kratos, but Kratos attacks him and he disappears and drops his ring. Lloyd asks who it was and Kratos says something like "I imagine it was that assassin from earlier". He's referring to this scene (and the others like it). Plus, when you take into account that Colette said "he", (and really, how could you mistake Sheena for a man, even without seeing her very closely?) it makes sense.

The anime isn't canon. They changed a lot of things. That doesn't automatically make it correct for the game.

It was Yuan. It even says so later in the game, in Hima.

No, that was Sheena. Sheena's trying to assasinate Colette for Teth'alla. Yuan's trying to kill Kratos to realease the seal. There's no romance going on, as a side note. The renegades want Colette's life to end the ritual though, too, so it could be either, I suspose. Depends on where you are in the game.

You get those costumes in Tethe'alla, I believe. I think that's "Noble Boy" (or something like that) and "Fair Lady". It's with the rescue the princess side quest...thing.

I heard it's Slash and Thrust, but I don't think it makes a difference. You learn differnt moves, like Psi Tempest versus Omega Tempest.

They do mean strike and technical, but yes, you get diffrent move sets. Lloyd learns things taht look alot the same, but genis and raine both learn diffrent moves. (Raine on T type learns ray, but S type learns holy lance) Try switching between the 2 to see the diffrent moves.
