Those two meshed so well together, and it's what made them the voices of Smackdown for five years! I wish this commentary duo would come back.

dam imagine if Hogan n Piper stayed with WWE for like month longer in 2003. i heard Mr.America was to fight Big show n have Lesnar v Angle at a WM rematch and im pretty sure Piper would have participated in the APA invitational..If Hogan stayed with WWE a month longer he probably would have been in WWE HCTP..bcuz Smackdown's roster in season was horrible

Mr. America (Hogan) was going to face big show at this event, in a singles match, but about 1 week before the event, Hogan left WWE, and thought the Mr. America storyline was pathetic and he left.

so WWE added the big show, to the triple threat match instead.
