i disagree.. certain religions ( not mentioning in detail) forces itself upon you after marriage. Love can change everything yes but the vast differences that arise due to the race and religion factor may cause unrest in the marriage.

@Avinesh247 I disagreed too. Divorce rate is high in current age, I cant see was due to race or religion. Most marriage r from same race/ even same religion. So can we conclude that No 100% safe marriage even our partner from same race or religion.

For the people who don't understand the film: I believe the film is about the racial and cultural differences dividing Malaysia. She's imagining herself speaking to him in different languages, but in the end doesn't try as they are different races.
