@sweetniko1 The defense argued that the journal entry was from 2003 prior to Caylee's death (since it wasn't dated with a year and they found imprints of her writing about an ex-boyfriend whom she dated in '03), but the prosecutors found out that that particular journal didn't come on the market until 2004.

ugghh it's not cuz she's white..what about oj? he got off 2 and the judge in this case was black so that makes no sense. the reason she got off is cuz of the jury. they considered the death penalty in deliberations and that's a violation of the instructions. they were even split at 1 point 6 to 6 and the guilty side caved cuz it was easier to just acquit her and go home.
o and the other thing they did wrong besides considering the death penalty is that they said they had no cause of death so they could not convict her. this is also in the judge's instructions...you DONT need a cause of death to find some1 guilty. there are cases all the time when there is not even a body and they still come back guilty.

@SuperRenata23 you have to remember, too, that the prosecutors we're never able to proove HOW caylee died. the medical examiner listed the cause of death as "death by undetermined means". if you can't even proove to the jury that someone was murdered, it's hard to convict a murderer, now isn't it? do i think casey is guilty? yes... but what i think doesn't matter. what pisses ME off is that they would have got casey if they had found the body sooner, but they didn't cause casey lied!!!

ugghh it's not cuz she's white..what about oj? he got off 2 and the judge in this case was black so that makes no sense. the reason she got off is cuz of the jury. they considered the death penalty in deliberations and that's a violation of the instructions. they were even split at 1 point 6 to 6 and the guilty side caved cuz it was easier to just acquit her and go home.
