So hard to make out thats the hume. I travelled up that many many times, I use to live in Euroa.
I remember watching on the CFA incident summary site, kilmore fire went from (measure in fire units) 1, to 100 in the space of an hour. it was scary =(
These Black Saturday fires has made me think about joining the cfa because i live in the Wandong Kilmore region and i want to do all i can to try stop another Black Saturday.
Yeah mate, I'm with the NSW RFS and I tell you what you get some satisfaction out of it aye. Helping the community, even though for no pay, in a "2nd job" more or less, where every day is a different day... It's awesome, I love it.
that was the kilmore east origin fire jumping the hume freeway, it burnt southeast down to st.andrews, then the wind changed and took it northeast up through the kinglake area.
Use mighty power of nature
In the northwestern Australia, we have huge tides,
huge evaporation and huge dry rivers and lakes.
Evaporation is up to 4m per year.
Huge 12m tidal erosion can revive old dry paleo dormant once mighty rivers, creeks and lakes,
desalinate the country and change deserts to rain forests to provide more rain across Australia = less Bush Fires
World population is growing rapidly and we need more energy, food, land and water.
