I actually have some old pinstripes on the bottem, i've never really experimented with anything else but they work just fine. Back then I had zbt and zht's mostly, but if you watch my newer videos you'll see i've upgraded
@Paitsch a really old ludwig silver sparker kit i bought from a friend for real cheap. I think its dated around the 70's. I pretty much replaced all the hardware and got new rims, but it sounds great. EC2 heads really make them sound great though!
hey dude awesome drumming and keep it up. but might i recommend that you raise your hi-hat and snare a little bit because thats a risky thing to have them that low cu in a gig you have a very high chance of dropping a stick. but oher wise man your a great drummer and keep it up!
Great drumming like your fluid style! The audio is good and clean it just not focused. What I mean is you need a bass drum mic, snare mic and the toms are a bit quiet there's a few way to help fix this. One way is tom mics another way is messing with the overheads. The third way is buying a large diaphragm condenser and move it around until you find the sweet spot for toms. A cheap drum mic package from Nady will actually sound decent. God Bless, keep up the great drumming. -PK
nice drumming dude:) and the recorderman technique is a really good way to record but i think you need one more mic near your bass drum but just turn that down on your mixer a bit if you do:)
WHOOP WHOOP! Awesome job! The mics sound great, and I especially like your fill on "bring us back to him" and your fill right before the last chorus. Your camera off to the side of your 2nd snare makes stick motion look super cool too.
hi im andrew...im 12 and learning to play the drums and might i just say, that was awesome
