Undoubtedly one of the best couture collections Galliano ever has done. While it isn't as full-on crazy as some of his earlier work this is a proof of his amazing discipline. The mood sways between austerity, elegance and decadence, yet every look is charged with a perverse sexuality. Just look at those patent corsets and transparent skirts! The closing look is just mind-blowing. The scale-embroidery and raised skirt reminds me of some otherworldly sea creature parading for its mate. Brilliant!
