Martin Salter is right, believe it or not. Whatever you think of Bercow, Dorries has always been against Bercow and this interview was merely some kind of attempt to veil that hatred as some form of principle regarding traditions.

It's perfectly fair that she highlights her disliking of the Speaker, so she should just go for it rather than discussing it like this, it's all rather bizarre.
