@xxxCRAZYLOVExxx maybe not, as long as it's winterized beforehand. Also, gasoline has a habid of really screwing up the fuel system if it just sits for a long period of time. The inside of the tank will rust, and it can cause pumps, and your fuel gauge to fail. If it has a full tank, and is properly winterized, it should be ok for a year.
most car have a sensor wired into the pad. When the wire brakes the light goes on your dash board. Which means your should replace your pads soon. Once you see the pads eating the rotor. Your quite late into replacing them.
Most cars have a sensor? where do you live, richville. Most cars dont have sensors, only newer cars and luxury cars have those sensors.
You can do a quick check depending on your rims, by just feeling the brake pad with yer finger, if it feels low, just pull the tire off and check it. Front pads wear faster then back pads, so check those most often, if they start squealing, you should check them asap and probably replace them asap.
yes they do, anything after 1990 has it, but I guess your blind to notice that the driver pad has a wire in it that will shine a light when it falls off.
Of shit I forgot American cars are POS, and dont have anything that a pesents car has from europe.
Seriously stop being a faggit, and go take a look at your brakes.
All the cars I own are 1990 and newer, none have a brake sensor.
Its spelled faggot, and try not to get so angry, its the internet, lol. I do brakes on cars every day at work, I know what im talking about. The only cars you could say have the brake sensors standard is maybe 2004/2005ish and onward. Most people dont buy luxury cars with sensors for everything. And if your car is from 1990 and has a brake sensor, id probably still check manually, sensors break.
just change them once a year, even though they might still be good after going through all those heat cycles they could start to seperate from the backing plated
Think this Video should be renamed to "When to change your brake pads" ..

Joe the plumber doesent drive an SLR or a Bugatti. His pads just squeal at him

All very interesting. It's like saying : when the pad is too thin, you need to replace.
Euhm, OK. Any idea how to actually check them. And of course, I don't have that colored stuff you're showing, neither I have a car lift.
